Perfect Name Little Paradise

Everything was just as advertised great location ,Host, Great communication, Clean and very comfortable we couldn't of asked for anything more. The studio is very well equipped, clean and with a nice terrace, located in the area with a lot of places to eat and 5 min walk to the beach. Unfortunately, the neighbourhood (I mean wall in wall with our building) is a construction site which was very annoying especially when the workers start before 8 o'clock in the morning (this should be mentioned on the studio page in order to know people about the noise); if we knew that, we would never book this place. The communication with both landlord and local host was poor from this point of view. We have asked for check-in details with 3 days in advance but we received them only after landing in Saint Marten. Last day, the local host said she will come for check-out ... she delayed for 45 min and she even did not apologize for that... a bit disappointing

Great Location

Great location in Orient Village, with beach, restaurants, bars, grocery store just steps away. Unit was as advertised. Everything was in great condition. Comfortable bed. Fast internet, US TV and streaming services available. Very large balcony. Would love to go back.

Lovely renovated unit in a very convenient area.

Short walk to the beach and plenty of excellent restaurants in the area. The two grocery stores in the village had a very good selection of goods, and the prices were reasonable.

Location location location

Great stay. Located right in Orient Village convenient to restaurants and beach. Relatively recently remodeled and nicely appointed with washer, beach chairs, and and kitchenette. We will return.

Great stay

Studio suite was great for our stay. Well equipped to meet our needs. Location was perfect that we could walk to every location, beach, restaurants, grocery. Private balcony was a bonus for us as we had a delay to fun due to rain but were able to use the covered patio and still enjoy the outdoors for the day. Host was great and informed of us a temporary water issue that was affecting the area and not just our unit to ease our concerns before we asked her. Would stay again and recommend.

Good Unit, Poor Management

The unit was neat, clean, properly outfitted, and the location was perfect. Loved the outdoor patio area, but if you aren't a Handy Man, this may not be the unit for you. One evening the power went out, no fault of the unit, but when power to the grid was reinstated, the AC unit did not come back on. We tried everything on the remote to no avail. Eventually I found the circuit panel behind the toaster oven and reset the breaker. Everything worked fine then. On another day as we were beginning to prepare breakfast, the cooktop would not work. I sent a text to the property manager. She never replied. Two days later I went back to the circuit panel and reset the entire panel. This re-booted the cooktop, and it was back to working order. Even when the manager texted us the day before our departure, she made no reference to my text immediately above it about the non-working cooktop. So if you ever need any help from the manager, I'm afraid you are out of luck with this one. Very nice unit, but very poorly managed.

Property Manager Mimi: Fabulous, Friendly, Funny, Caring, Kind & Beautiful on the inside and out!!!

My husband and I loved it here!! The property was great. It's in a wonderful location. Even though we rented a car, we had everything we needed on the property. Stores for all your needs. And restaurants (soooo many to choose from!) The beach was steps away. We had a lovely and large balcony that overlooked the area. It was completely private. It was used during the day to enjoy the sun and at night we loved to sit out there to listen to the waves and watch the moon and enjoy some cocktails. (LOL!) It was clean and the set up inside was ideal. We felt safe. Parking was never a problem. I can't say enough good things about this property. We are planning another trip and this place will definitely be on our list. And again, Mimi is one of the most pleasant people we've met in our life. So sweet. And all of the locals we met in that area were so incredibly helpful and friendly. St. Martin is our happy place and my therapy. Thank you for having us. XOXO

Non-communication and no refund

We had planned to stay 26 days but due to the tragic death of our future son in law we had to leave after 5 nights to come to our daughters aide. We could not return due to the corona virus restrictions. We made two plea attempts for some refund consideration to the owner who chose to not respond in any manner. VRBO leaves refund policies to the owner managers. Lesson learned here. Always insure your travels and don’t deal with passive owner client interfaces.

Great Property

Everything was great, studio was spotless, everything you could need for an extended stay and in a perfect location. Our property manager Mimi was kind and there when we needed her, we called and texted a few times and she replied immediately. We had a wonderful stay and are looking forward to our return next year. Super Lage und komfortables Apartment

All new, clean and as advertised

We have been traveling to Orient Bay for many years and have stayed many different hotels and apartments. This was our first trip back since Hurricane Irma. This studio apartment is completely new and refurbished inside like many other properties in Orient Bay. It is directly over BO’s Pizza and the French bakery, Good Morning, is very convienent and is one of three excellent breakfast choices nearby. The air conditioning works flawlessly but the WiFi is rather slow. The TV provides only French channels and as many Americans, our foreign language skills are lacking so we did not watch it. The best part was meeting Mimi, who used to work at the CO Boutique, to check us in and out. Whenever we had a question, (such as how to use the washer in French) we texted or called Mimi and she replied immediately. This is close to the beach and restaurant choices in Orient Village abound. We believe the value is excellent and recommend this as a place to stay.
