Nice Property, But Still Under Construction — and Customer Support Fell Short
The unit itself was modern, clean, and well-decorated in a great location—but the overall experience didn’t live up to expectations. What the listing doesn’t make clear is that the entire development is still under active construction. Driving in, you’re met with construction vehicles, dirt roads, unfinished buildings, and the shell of a clubhouse being erected. It feels more like a worksite than a resort.We also had a maintenance issue with the downstairs bathroom that was never resolved. A staff member acknowledged the problem and said a repair would be done the next day—but no one ever came. Later, the host falsely claimed we denied them access, which is simply not true. We were on vacation and didn’t want to waste more time waiting around for a fix that never happened.Other small issues added to the frustration: dog waste not being picked up in common areas, conflicting check-in information, and unclear payment timing. When we requested a partial refund for the unusable bathroom, it was flatly denied despite our reasonable explanation.While the interior of the unit was nice, the surrounding environment and lack of accountability from the host took away from what should’ve been a relaxing experience. Until construction is complete and management improves, I wouldn’t recommend staying here
