Overbooked but tried their best

They were overbooked and didnt have the 3br i paid for. We did a late check in. They didnt have a reservation for me at all, but security put us in a 2br unit so we had somewhere to sleep. Unit had spiders and an outlet that didnt work. TVs are tiny. Otherwise, it was clean. Next morning, staff was nice and issued refund no problem since they couldnt accommodate. Unit was not wheelchair accessible. Had a headache getting my power chair inside to charge it. Complex was clean. Basic but clean facility

Property inside and out was very clean. The management staff were very friendly and responsive. The pool and hot tub areas were wonderful. The giant size checkers and chess were fun to play as well as look at. The location was convenient for the Heritage Center although there was a lit of road construction going on.

Stay here last year and it was terrific. This year, not so much. They couldn’t find my reservation through Expedia so we had to wait 45 min to figure out a room. The next morning, some maintenance man (I hope it was a maintenance man) walk right into our room without a knock or warning. He was just as shocked as we were and walked out. My wife proceeded open the door to make sure he at least worked there and he yelled at her “I said I was sorry”! The next day, we got home after a long day at an event to find out that our cards no longer worked. Had to walk up to the office and figure out why. No answer, just issued new keys. Lastly, the streets around the property are being repaved and widened so it’s an absolute mess and have to figure out another route to get into and out of the property (not there fault but I feel they should warn you). Other than that, place is ok.

Very clean both the accomodations and the property. The rooms are older but nicely appointed. It was easy to walk to a grocery store. Unfortunately road work was being done but other than noise, it was not a problem for our stay. The only hitch re communication was that a parking pass had to be requested and was.not provided until our stay was almost over. But there was plenty of convenient parking and no one asked for the pass. Seemed to be lots of families and a pleasant area.

Too many options to waste your money here.

We travel 2-3 weekends every month for our business, we stay in a lot of hotels. I booked this place because we needed more room this trip and the price was very very reasonable. Reviews were all great, I should have paid more attention to the not so good reviews because those are the ones that seem to be more honest or reliable. Check in was ok, not too friendly but it was late and I was tired so whatever. We entered the unit and it was pleasantly nice and clean. Fridge had stains/rust down the whole side, we weren’t going to use the kitchen much so it was too much of an issue. The downstairs bathroom was soooo small, not enough room for an adult to move. The sleeper sofa mattress was as to be expected, very thin and full of springs/metal bars, we should have brought a blow up mattress instead. None of the tvs worked. The master bedroom was spacious, but the bed was literally like sleeping on a concrete floor. It was the hardest mattress I have ever slept on in my life. The sheets were like sandpaper, extra blankets were gross and sticky. The towels, while plenty there, were so stiff and scratchy, they were awful. The twin beds were very soft and comfy, but the sheets on them were just as hard and like sandpaper as the master bed. Don’t call the parking pass number, they just send someone to try and sell you a timeshare, it was so ridiculous. The noise from the road is SOOOOO loud, we barely got any sleep between the noise, the neighbors banging on stuff, and the hard beds.

Great place

The Villa was great. Clean and very spacious. There was an issue with my reservation but they took care of it quickly and had me a villa within 15 minutes. Make sure you call them to verify your booking before you go. The hub that does the booking for them is in Daytona. It was quiet until people outside the Villa property decided at 11pm-3am to shoot off fireworks. That was a 1 night event. The villa was clean and the showers were all great walk-ins. I will definitely stay here again but not near the road next time.

Property itself was fine. Giving one star because they try to get you to buy a $6000 timeshare in a misleading way. They tell you that you need a parking pass but they don't give them out there so you have to call a number. They tell you they will send someone out the next morning to do a survey and give you the parking pass. Someone comes to your door and fills out a fake survey then starts trying to sell you an expensive time share. If you're going to solicit to customer just be up front about it.

There is an additional $9 a day that no one tells you about until you arrive. Expedia says it is just a $100 refundable deposit and all other fees are paid, but that isnt true. The kids twin beds were harder then a rock and none of the beds come with blankets on them, just sheets. It is super loud all around there and no major grocery chains for 20 mins. The place clean, which was appreciated. The office closes at night, so be prepared for that.
