What a gem of a place The Mews is in Ossett. My husband and I stayed there for 2 nights for my fathers funeral so quite a difficult time and the last thing you want is any problems. The staff were lovely and warm and friendly and the room was comfortable and very clean and had everything you would need and there was plenty of parking. The 'light' breakfast was really good with fruit, cereal, yogurt and juice, tea or filter coffee and then toast or beans on toast or bacon sandwich, sausage sandwich, scrambled egg on toast or bacon and scrambled egg on toast so more than enough. Everything was smooth and we ate dinner there both nights with food being very good quality, lots to choose from with great value and good service, it is a popular place for dinner which is a sign of how good it is. Thank you for looking after us The Mews when we needed you the most.

Very well run establishment, helpful staff, the restaurant dinner was well above average pub standard, good choice of fish main courses. Freshly cooked eggs for breakfast made a nice change in addition to fruit and cereal. Safe parking and easy access from the M1.
