Nice funky place. Needs a little deep cleaning of the couch cushions and underneath . We lost the tv remote down inside the couch and when I stuck my hand down in there it was full of food crumbs. Otherwise nice place.

Working Vacation

The house was as advertised. The owners were very nice. I would rent this place again. Wish there was parking for more than 1 car. Overall great experience.

Stop and take a breath.

We really enjoyed this quiet, well maintained location with easy beach access. The peace itself will bring a smile. The little hill to the quiet beach is not too much. The beach...we will miss A LOT. There is coffee/bakery nearby. Mo's provided us yummy lunches and don't miss the Flying Dutchman. P.S. Bring binoculars to see the sea lions that hang out on the rocks!

Great location

Was a great location to base out of for trips up and down the coast, whale watched in Depoe Bay and enjoyed walking the historic bay front in Newport, both are close by. The property was just as described, and though it is a bit of a walk to the beach (not so very far, but it is on an incline the whole way) the beach is quite private. During our for night stay there ware netted more than a half dozen other people within a quarter mile of us.

Would Ramble again

The Ramble On was a wonderful place to stay! Our little A-frame was just right for the 4 of us and our dogs. We were very impressed by the cleanliness of the property upon check-in, especially being near a beach and pet friendly. There wasn’t a lick of sand or pet hair anywhere. Kudos to the cleaning crew. The furnishing and beds were comfortable. The kitchen was adequate for the few things we made. My only complaint about the whole experience was the beach access wasn’t quite as easy as I feel the pictures made it appear. My elderly mother was with us, and she couldn’t traverse the trail down to the beach which was disappointing. Other than that, we were very pleased with the property. We would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Fun Family Beach Get A Way!

We had a great time here! Great location, the beach was perfect, so clean and private and beautiful! We really enjoyed out nightly sunset beach trips. The little trail to the beach was pretty easy and short for us, but definitely makes your legs feel the burn on the way back up! We are pretty active so it wasn’t a big deal for us, but if someone had some Mobility issues then it could possibly be harder for them. The cabin was cute and fun, and our family had a great time there. Great location, close to lots of things to do, we even drove to nearby Depot Bay and saw Whales!!

Fun house, great spot

The house was in a great location with easy access to a relatively private section of the beach. The house was clean and cute, and my family definitely enjoyed the disco ball ;) We will be back!

Fantastic property and beach

This property was so cozy and unique. We came here for a mother-daughter get away and had a great time. The location is fantastic and the beach completely exceeded our expectations. I would highly recommend this property!

Funky Motel Feel on the Coast

This place is well decorated and is close to the beach. The property has more of a funky motel feel than a cabin or Shalet in the woods. Perfect for people on their 20’s or early 30’s. Front window view is a huge parking lot. Out back is the highway that you drove in on. Luckily traffic is light at night so the traffic noise did not keep me up.

Sweet spot

Definitely recommend this sweet little spot. A quick walk to the beach (there is a small hill to climb/descend). Games, books, & movies available in the house, and all the things you’d need. We really enjoyed the getaway.

Perfect Lil Chalet with private beach.

The title sums it up perfectly. Quiet place. Privateish beach. Cozy home. Would come back for sure. Don’t forget to check out the dvd library they surprisingly had The Big Lebowski!!

Calling all Big Lebowski fans!

My husband is a huge Lebowski fan. We came here for his birthday and had such a kick with the themed chalet. It was clean, well organized, and a short walk to a semi private beach. The only bummer is that the campfire and bbq area was closed. We had a bonfire on the beach instead and minus the wind it was great. The kids loved having their own space upstairs in the loft. I highly recommend!
