「Pros, the room was very clean and new, pillows and mattress were very comfortable, towels were thick and absorbing, air conditioning worked well, there were water bottles and coffees pods in the room, the community kitchen had microwave, fridge, coffee maker, electric kettle, utensils. 「Excellent location. Clean. Large rooms. The hotel actually consists of two hotels. One is older but remolded and overlooks the sea. The one we stayed at was just above it. Very quiet in January but apparently quite the opposite at other times of the year. Good service. Buffet breakfast. Good but not excellent. Buffet dinner can be purchased also. We ate there a couple of times - 25 E pp. 」

「The Vila Gale Cerro has everything that you would need at a resort hotel. We were able to enjoy the pool area which had food and drink options throughout the day. Pool was a bit cool but refreshing and large - perfect for a hot day. We had no problem finding pool loungers in the middle of the afternoon - plenty of space. The location of the hotel is also convenient for walking to the beach and nightlife. Room was clean and comfortable with a nice balcony. Great option for a stay in...

「Beautiful high floor apartment, comfy bed, kitchenette, good linen, great view, spacious bathroom. Everything we needed for a short stay. We were 'upgraded' to prestige on arrival, which was fine - i dont usually like staying in hotel blocks but it was out of season and quiet so was great. I had originally booked an apartment. Pools we didn't use but would have done if it had been rainy, we were lucky with the December weather! All the staff were warm and friendly, we had lunch in the cafeteria...

「Had a really good time there with my family. I actually booked another hotel in Sagres, but with much smaller space and poorer infrastructure. So I cancelled that one, and drove back again to Balaia hotel. Again the room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. There was also an indoor swimming pool nearby. Hotel staff was nice and helpful. Not to mention that the price is so attractive. Definitely worth it.」
