“Loction: nothing really around the hotel, so you really need a car if you stay in this hotel. Hotel facilities: The hotel has really nice pools, my kids love the kids pools very much but the water was way too cold ( We were there at end of June). Service: We need to pay 1 euro for each beach towel we borrow from the hotel, also need to pay 10 euros for the security safe in our room. For how nice the Portuguese are, the hotel receptions are really not that nice and friendly. There was only one……

“Had a really good time there with my family. I actually booked another hotel in Sagres, but with much smaller space and poorer infrastructure. So I cancelled that one, and drove back again to Balaia hotel. Again the room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. There was also an indoor swimming pool nearby. Hotel staff was nice and helpful. Not to mention that the price is so attractive. Definitely worth it.”

“As a family of 5 we had a superb holiday at the Ocean suites. We had a ground floor apartment with garden and pool access which worked really well. We’d definately go back. The only criticism I have are the hedges around garden were in need of trim and cutting back as too overgrown and all food options were quite expensive, although we found a great Italian just outside Pine Cliffs on main road. A great place overall, we would highly recommend.”

“Had a great stay. Room was clean, pool are clean, poolside cafes were clean. 24-hr reception. Cleaning service daily. Couldn't fault it for the price we paid. A cheap stay with no problems. We also had the added bonus of an east facing room, which meant we got to watch the beautiful sunrise each day. The only down side is that it is a little far from the 'action', although the taxi's in Albufeira were very reasonable, meaning we got to the old town for only 5 euro's, whenever we wanted.”

“The resort has plentiful facilities and close to the beach. We are in the ocean suite and the room is nicely decorated and spacious The management is not up to a five star hotel standard. Firstly the dishes in the buffet restaurant, Jardim Colonial, were not very clean, some of which with stains. Having said that , the staffs in the restaurant are helpful. Secondly the food variety was not sufficient. Thirdly , on the last day, we went for breakfasts after checking out. We were told to……
