“It’s an uncommon review where you almost run out of superlatives But in the case of Masana Algarve, the setting is a nice quiet neighborhood away from the somewhat congested center of town and yet within walking distance of some nice grocery shops and little bistros. It’s just a quiet away from the bustle place. Your experience starts, as in our case, when our great very nice receptionist walked us to where our room was and went over all the features very carefully in detail, but what was……

“The kitchen was pretty well equipped although it would have been nice to have a coffee maker. The rooms were kept very clean by the chambermaids and we have nothing but great things to say about the wonderful fellows that manned the front desk. The area of Olhos de Aqua is a very quaint part of Albufeira which we absolutely loved. We felt very safe here and loved all the little restaurants in the area. We would definitely stay here again. Our thanks to all the staff!”

“A lovely 3 nights in the Velamar We had a room on the 2nd floor woth a sea view which was very nice. A lovely live singer around the pool on Friday afternoon she was really good. A great choice at breakfast on the roof top restaurant. All of the staff were helpful, polite and friendly. Overall a lovely hotel and can recommend staying there. ”

“Had a really good time there with my family. I actually booked another hotel in Sagres, but with much smaller space and poorer infrastructure. So I cancelled that one, and drove back again to Balaia hotel. Again the room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. There was also an indoor swimming pool nearby. Hotel staff was nice and helpful. Not to mention that the price is so attractive. Definitely worth it.”
