“On arrival was able to check in even though early, room was upgraded to a garden view which was appreciated. The rooms are clean and well maintained, mostly quiet although someone was thumping around above us, but it wasn't annoying enough to complain. Breakfast was as expected, pleasant with an outdoor eating area, sparkling wine and usual offerings, and it was never overly busy, and they replaced items if you asked, breakfast is also on until 11am which is great. Dìd not use pool but……

“Very nice location”

“The location is really nice and quiet. Short walk to near by restaurants and supermarkets. Prices are reasonable outside the resorts and I would not say the resorts prices are expensive. There are a variety of places to snack and drink. Plenty of things to do for the kids at the pool and playgrounds (football ground, ping-pong, pool tables etc…) The staff is very welcoming and it makes the stay very relaxed. The room is very spacious and fully kitted and very clean. The beds are comfortable……

“The kitchen was pretty well equipped although it would have been nice to have a coffee maker. The rooms were kept very clean by the chambermaids and we have nothing but great things to say about the wonderful fellows that manned the front desk. The area of Olhos de Aqua is a very quaint part of Albufeira which we absolutely loved. We felt very safe here and loved all the little restaurants in the area. We would definitely stay here again. Our thanks to all the staff!”

“Très bel emplacement (2 plages juste devant) et nous avons beaucoup apprécié la vue sur la mer de notre chambre. L’hôtel par contre aurait besoin d’un peu d’amour et l’ajout d’un grand miroir dans la chambre aurait été très pratique.”

“Die Lage des Hotels ist einfach toll. Die Außenanlagen haben uns auch sehr gut gefallen! Das Frühstück war auch sehr gut! Die Betten waren auch bequem und es war ruhig im Hotel. Ich würde es wieder buchen!”

“We really enjoyed our stay and the view we had from our sea view suite was spectacular. The pool area was super busy and there were a lot of Irish lads there who were loud and rowdy😢 Just as an FY The breakfasts were great with good variety. The location was convenient to a lot of restaurants. The beach was only a 20 minute walk but there are stairs involved. We enjoyed the food and view at The Beach Club at the bottom of the stairs.”

“Had a really good time there with my family. I actually booked another hotel in Sagres, but with much smaller space and poorer infrastructure. So I cancelled that one, and drove back again to Balaia hotel. Again the room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. There was also an indoor swimming pool nearby. Hotel staff was nice and helpful. Not to mention that the price is so attractive. Definitely worth it.”

“Loction: nothing really around the hotel, so you really need a car if you stay in this hotel. Hotel facilities: The hotel has really nice pools, my kids love the kids pools very much but the water was way too cold ( We were there at end of June). Service: We need to pay 1 euro for each beach towel we borrow from the hotel, also need to pay 10 euros for the security safe in our room. For how nice the Portuguese are, the hotel receptions are really not that nice and friendly. There was only one……

“I’ve stayed here before and will return again. It’s a very nice property. The spa is nice and relaxing.”

“Had a few issues with payment as I paid way more than what I originally booked for. Spoke with Expedia and they said to talk to front desk about the over charged. That took some time however, one gentleman Ricardo finally saw that there was a mistake after days and refunded me the difference, which still didn’t add up but went the loses. Loved the breakfast and the choices, only issues sometimes there was no bake beans so had to wait a long time to get some. Especially having a 10months baby……
