“We had a lovely stay at The Fleece. Great sized room with lovely view and great bathroom. The cleaner was lovely, helpful and efficient - tea tray had a great selection of drinks. The food at the hotel is delicious. Staff were all friendly. Great location and helpful to be able to park on site.”

“Absolutely fantastic stay in a lovely cosy pub. Staff could not have been more helpful. The room we stayed in was amazing add to this the fantastic food and atmosphere and it all adds up to a memorable stay. We will be back again.”

“Cozy, artistic and original. The pre-industrial cottage style setting really makes guests feel relaxed. The food quality and service level are beyond my expectation too.”

“We stayed for 2 nights (Saturday-Monday) and overall the stay was good! The room was lovely, well presented, clean (needed a few touch ups but nothing major) and comfortable. The female members of staff we spoke to were very helpful. Unfortunately, the Saturday night is the reason I’m not giving more stars. I understand it’s a pub so there will be noise to a degree, but there was loud talking and music until gone midnight and it was very frustrating. I had ear plugs in but could still hear it……

“We enjoyed our stay in the hotel. Nice staff at the counter and restaurant. Thanks Jen. The dinner and breakfast were superb. Nice experience to stay at an old English pub-style B&B.”
