“Absolutely beautiful property! The house was amazingly clean and spacious. The more rural setting was exactly what we were looking for. Each morning we drank coffee on the front porch and watched the fog rise out of the valleys around us. Short drives to local restaurants and trailheads. There were LOTS of informative pamphlets and menus to local restaurants at the house. If you are looking for a true getaway, this is it. We will book again.”

“We stayed at leatherwood for one night and headed a couple of miles down the road to the outfitter before starting our paddle trip. Leatherwood is a great and spacious house with everything you need. If you’re driving in the dark the sign can be a bit hard to see but if you’re looking out for it, it’s no problem at all! “This is a great small well appointed cowboy cabin! We booked unit this as an alternative to camping given the nearby access to centerpoint trail head, and our Ponca canoe outfitter. “We spent a three day weekend with friends exploring the Ozark Mountain Trails on our SXS and had a blast. The check-in was friendly and super accommodating. Parking is spacious with room to maneuver trailers. Best of all the home was secluded and we felt tucked away in our own retreat. The location was perfect!
