Great fishing!

cute and quiet

The house was cute and the neighborhood was fairly quiet.The bed was real comfortable. The living room furniture was a little worn out. Washer and dryer was an awesome convenience. The kitchen could use some updating. Some new cooking pans and less clutter. Had a nice relaxing time.

Everything was awesome, look forward to returning. Grill was great , not a fan of Roku tv . When in Palacios TV not a big priority. Thank you guys for sharing house with us.

Perfect get away house for small family and dogs

House was clean and welcoming, with a very large fenced yard that was great for our pups. Great location close to the pier, beach and downtown area. We will for sure be booking again.

Excellent stay

Property was as advertised in listing. You could feel the labor of love that went into the property. Dale was great at keeping me informed as I came down. Considering it was the day the hurricane came in it was amazing. Thank you for letting me stay at this location

Palacious 1st Time

We have never used a VRBO before. The past 12 years we were in a motorhome. This house was charming and had everything we needed. Good restaurants and for me- fishing. Weather was good. We definitely will be back again. Thank you for the opportunity to enjoy your vacation home.

Terrific Fishing Getaway

The property was as advertised, with a great location, and clean, well-stocked amenities. The host is well organized and has an efficient check-in/out system and good correspondence. A fenced yard is a bonus when traveling with pets. We look forward to booking again for our next fishing adventure.

Family Memories - Old and New

From the booking process to questions answered, check in to checkout, this property was a dream. Dale was quick to answer any questions. Everything imaginable was stocked and ready to use at the house. My adult son came with me and my granddaughters at the last minute, making our stay even more memorable (watching the funcle with his nieces kept me in laughter). My parents had lived in Palacios, 10 foot from the water for 15 years, which made me wonder if we’d be disappointed. 100% we loved it! Making new memories while remembering old memories made for an (almost) perfect trip. (If only the fishing had cooperated.) Book this little gem, you’ll be glad you did.

Just what we needed!

This place is just what the Dr. ordered! Very cute, quaint and clean! Had everything we needed and more! Fenced yard is great and beautiful! Quiet and relaxing! Had to make my husband leave! Our host, Dale, was awesome! Communication superb! Thanks Dale! Made everything easy!

This was the best 3 day vacation I’ve ever had. Close to the beach/water/pavilion area, grocery store, restaurants, etc. The house was so cute and very clean. I had no issues at all. I would definitely rent this property again in the future.

Great Little Getaway!

House is super cute & clean! Well appointed & accurately depicted. Hosts truly though of everything guests might need. Great fenced yard that our dog & her humans enjoyed! Quaint little community with wonderful walking areas along the bay & in pretty little parks. Friendly folks too. Would like to visit again!

Fishing Getaway

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at Margerum Manor. Everything was ready and the place was clean and as described. The yard is spacious. I caught 7 redfish at a place Dale recommended for wade fishing, so that was outstanding. Palacios is a fisherman's delight, but we also had a good time driving to nearby towns and Matagorda Beach. Recommended!

Wonderful small home with all amenities. Dale is your host and he’s extremely easy to work with. Wonderful walking path along the bay, used it daily. People are very friendly with nice churches.

We were there for fishing, the property was perfect. Close to Boat Ramps, Bait shops and perfect set up for fish cleaning. Also had plenty of parking for our Boat/trailer.The property is very clean and cozy. Dale was excellent at making sure we were comfortable
