Rooms and location were a good fit for our multi-generational family trip. Home in need of maintenance outside. Exterior door knob peeling, pool not fully functional, tear in outdoor screen around pool, peeling paint. The interior needs deep clean. Mold/mildew on many vents plus cob webs on light fixtures. All toilet paper holders are loose. Base boards have marks. A lot of little things added up to not feeling like the home was a good value. We contacted the office about stained towels, pool not filtering/heating/jets not working, insects in one bathroom, smoke detector beeping. New towels were delivered the same day, pest control called out same day. Pool company came out several times. New jets (or motors) on order. Heater never seemed to work. Smoke detector detached because it was still beeping after batteries replaced. The bathrooms/kitchen were clean. The house is nicely decorated in relaxing colors. Close to beach and community pool. Garage has chairs and boogie boards to use for the beach. This stay was out 4th in this community, so we were a little disappointed with this particular home.

It was ok. Furnishings were nice and simple, I didn’t feel like I was living in someone else’s house, that was a plus. The exterior need a lot of TLC. Pool looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in weeks, weeds all on patio pavers. AC broke upstairs on day 3. Came back from the beach (which is super close to the house) and there was a violation notice taped to the gate. After a few emails back and forth, it turns out owners didn’t pay their taxes. That was a bit frustrating for us. Communication between the propert management could have been better. Felt like I was talking to an AI.They did leave us a gift bag at the end of our stay, which was nice.

Perfect Staycation

My family had a wonderful stay at Beach Haven! This home was a great find for our family of four, in-laws and pets! And the dip pool was a definite bonus. We had four full days of fun in the sun at the beach, played golf and enjoyed community pool time too. Can’t wait to go back! Thank you!

Just can’t beat the Cinnamon Beach community. It has great accommodations, two great pools, a fantastic bar and grill. And the beach is stunning.

507 Cinnamon Beach Lane Stay in June 2024

The property (507 Cinnamon Beach Lane) was in really good shape. The only problem we had was with the microwave. The microwave would lock up and had to be unplugged numerous times, in order to work. I believe the Controller board in this microwave is bad. Other than that, we had a wonderful stay.

Family Vacation

Overall, the property needed a significant amount of maintenance work. The dryer took forever to dry which was clearly an issue based on previous reviews. We called about it and maintenance came out the same day and cleaned out the vent. We were able to dry clothes better that afternoon and night, but the next day had the same issues again and the dryer at that point did not even get hot. It required a new heating element which they had to order. Thankfully they allowed us to use another properties dryer to dry clothes we needed to wash. The same day, the down stairs bathroom clogged and wouldn't flush. The first day the dryer didn't work, the upstairs 1/2 bath overflowed down into the downstairs Jack and Jill bathroom. Maintenance did fix that and we did not have anymore issues with that. Then the faucet in the kitchen sink was leaking and spilled out into the floor in the kitchen. Someone clearly knew about that because when we looked under the sink to see where the leak was coming from, we discovered someone had placed a glass baking dish under the faucet to catch the leaking water. Overall, maintenance was very responsive to our calls, the Cinnamon Beach community is beautiful, and we enjoyed our stay. However, I would not stay at this property again. In addition to the issues described above, this particular property also lacked in minor ways such as not having but 1 wine glass, inadequate seating in the main living area for a property of its size, and mattresses and pillows that were not very comfortable.

Superb house and excellent vacation. Less than 5 min walk to the beach. Close to everything. Safe neighborhood w/ guard gate. Would definitely rent again.

Canary Bay Home in Cinnamon Beach Vacation

This home was really nice with the exception of the Dryer. It took an exceedingly long time for the closes to dry. However, everything else was really nice, including the location of the property.

Spring Break

The house was fine for our group to spend a few days. There are a couple of issues with the house - pool heater doesn’t work, master bath door is stuck open and the oven smoked so much we turned it off and did not use it. Those were fairly minor things. Our bigger issue was that the listing makes it sound like you have access to Ocean Hammock Beach resort and courses, but you do not. There are two pools and a small snack shop on property but not what I expected from ‘resort access’ in the description. When my husband tried to make a tee time, he was told that they hear about this confusion regularly from guests at this house. The description should be more specific.

Had several problems

Vacation office is very responsive. A few hours after arriving the smoke detector starting beeping so we called, got permission to disconnect and they were out to fix it next day. Later found that the stove had some weird code and wouldn't come on. Again responsive and they were out the same day BUT the stove still didn't work. Looked like it was but never got hot. We had to alter our meals for the week. Could've kept calling maintenance but we were just annoyed by then. In addition, the master bath door didn't close at all, 2 grills but they didn't work either, dryer takes several cycles due to lint buildup. Cute home, just needs some TLC.

The perfect stay

A beautiful, comfortable property that was even better than expected! We enjoyed all of the home details and layout, televisions & living space including small touches like extra towels, garbage bags, soaps etc. We loved the neighborhood pools, grill/restaurant, close beach access, neighborhood and overall location for activity variety. The welcome guide provided all the details with restaurants and recreation & the community folks were so welcoming. You will feel right at home. Comfortable beds and a great private pool area that definitely exceeded our expectations. An excellent vacation.

No Service

We rented the house for 4 days in March. Location was nice, safe gated community. New house. Unfortunately not totally finished - missing lightbulbs in a lot of rooms, lots of details left undone, master showerdoor didn't close so water leaked all over bathroom, carpet up the stairs was FILTHY, some cupboards still had tools in them. Biggest problem was hot tub did not work. Called "management" contact and were told pool person would be out first thing in morning. Despite multiple calls the next day, no service. The "management" person finally quit answering our calls and obviously no pool service person showed up. Disappointing when a hot tub was on your list of musts in a house. One of our children left some items in a room and we called our contact management person and again, no response. We have NEVER in our last 6 years of VRBO rentals had service like this or a rental like this. Very disappointing. Location was very nice. I would NEVER use this rental company or suggest it to anyone else. They were exceptionally quick to take my money but did not deliver on anything promised.

Nice Shell but No Service

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house was apparently newly "completed". Unfortunately for us, that meant a hot tub that did not work and despite daily calls to our "management" person who assured us our pool person was on his way, it was never fixed. In fact, after 2 days, he quit even answering our calls. Very disappointing fora family from Iowa who SPECIFICALLY booked a house with a hot tub. The carpets going up the stairs were filthy (I assume they weren't cleaned after construction). Multiple light fixtures had no light bulbs, many details were not finished. The master shower door would not close completely so when you showered water leaked everywhere. Safety was nice and gated in the area. Ocean access was across the street. Small pool within the complex. I would NEVER stay here again or use this company, service was HORRIBLE. We have used VRBO many times and had excellent experiences, I am sad to say this was less than desirable. Our primary issue was the lack of response from our contact person. One of our children left some items in a room, we left a message with the management contact person and have yet to hear back. Worst service we have EVER had from any company.
