We stayed at this lovely property to have some downtime after a busy tour of France. We enjoyed the spaciousness and outlook. Having two toilets when sharing with friends is also a bonus. The kitchen was well equipped if choosing to stay in. We were close to restaurants, shops and public transport plus there was a lovely walk around two lakes close by. You can see the Eiffel Tower lit up at night from the lounge/balcony and it was a 15 minute UBer ride to Versailles for a spot of shopping. There are three flights of stairs to navigate to the apartment but so worth it when you arrive at this oasis.

Amazing weekend in Paris!

This weekend stay with 4 adult friends in Paris was incredible! In a quiet, smaller neighborhood of Paris it was full of great food, close to the metro, and had breathtaking views. The hosts were very accommadating, especially since I messed up the reservation and only said one person was coming, and they quickly fixed the sleeping situation. They were easy to communicate with, and they provided great recommendations in the area!Highly recommended for anyone traveling to this area!

Great location and view

The location between Paris and Versailles is great! The apartment was spotless with amazing views and the owners are lovely and very helpful. Be aware there are a lot of stairs :). Would love to stay again.

Paris Gem

This place was beyond expected! Camille and Xavier were so accommodating down to lending us a shopping trolly for the grocery. My family and I highly recommend, and will definitely be back for our next Paris adventure!!!

Lovely Vacation

Property is as described and shown in pictures. It is within walking distance of several restaurants, stores and outdoor market. Camille & Xavier very accommodating and patient with our numerous requests for suggestions, directions and assistance; great hostesses. Definitely would stay again and would recommend it to others.

Perfection!

I just can't say enough about our time here and the beautiful village. Xavier and Camille went above and beyond to ensure we had an excellent stay. The apartment is gorgeous and was a great fit for our party of 6. Beds super comfy and all of the amenities you would ever need. We will definitely be coming back to stay here.

Fabulous apartment and hosts - top rated

Such a wonderful apartment, location and hosts. Our family of four had a fantastic time using this apartment as a base for trips to Versailles, central Paris and to Rock en Seine in August. The apartment is well stocked with everything you could need, is immaculately presented, spotlessly clean, and the hosts are kind and generous with their communications and hospitality. Our 20 and 17 year old sons and my wife and I loved our rooms, the views from the terrace and the local market and shops. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again. A family favourite.

What a gem of a property!! Not only were Camille and Xavier the nicest people, the property was amazing, spacious, clean, luxurious…. I could go on. Xavier even helped me park our rental in a tight spot on the street! Loved every bit of this stay and I would absolutely rent again!!

First Family Trip to Paris!

Xavier & Camila were amazing host! The place is exactly what I wanted being close enough to visit the city but staying in a quiet beautiful neighborhood where we could visit a local bakery, grocery store & have easy access to public transportation! The hosts were available anytime we had question & the apartment was absolutely delightful! Wish we had one more day to enjoy it! We loved Paris it was so charming & everyone so hospitable! Thank you for also setting up the shuttle from the airport as this was so helpful navigating travel with a family of 5!

Lovely apartment in vile d’avray

We have been to Paris several times and decided this time to try an apartment outside of the city instead of the normal touristy hotels. We are so very glad we did. The place is very well done a beautiful spacious apartment in a historic home. The owners were very helpful. I should mention we did have a car so we did not have to try other transportation but it was perfect

Gorgeous View!!!

This is a wonderful property. It has a ton of space and is very well decorated. The balcony is great for a glass of wine or champagne and to enjoy the sounds of the birds. The location is an easy walk to a grocery store and bakery and Uber ride to Paris. The hosts were wonderful. Provided croissants, butter and milk the first day we were there. They also provided train tickets to the city and a wonder cold bottle of champagne. We would love to stay here again.

Quality experience from start to finish

Many have previously mentioned the positives of this apartment and we can only concur. Were in Paris for the Olympics and this proved a great base given the excellent connectivity on trains and buses - we got to several venues easily. Some really good restaurants nearby and the village has all the amenities you need. The hosts were fabulous - we had a lot of contact discussing the various events and they were extremely generous to us. My wife has concluded we need to find something similar for ourselves we enjoyed the apartment so much ! Fabulous.

One of the best VRBOs we’ve ever stayed at!

First off, our hosts were amazing! They were accommodating, responsive, hospitable, and incredibly genuine! They were there for all of our needs, we’ll definitely be back!! The place…AMAZING!! It was exactly as the description said, and very accurate from the photos too. It was cozy, spacious, clean, and very quiet. When we come back to Paris, there isn’t a question of where we’ll stay. It’s about 27 min to Central Paris by Uber. The little town is wonderful, and has everything you need. It is with our highest recommendation that we recommend Xavier & Camille’s location in Ville-d’Avray. Thank you both again for the wonderful hospitality!

Absolutely amazing!!!!

We enjoyed our stay here so very much!!! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed so warmly. Xavier and Camille were so accommodating and extremely kind to us. The home is very lovely and spacious. It truly had everything we needed and more. Plenty of linens, comfy beds, and really nice furnishings. We appreciated the artwork, too. :) We enjoyed every aspect of staying here and would definitely enjoy staying here again in the future. We appreciate the champagne left for us for our anniversary. A great sized apartment in a great location!

We were looking to stay in Paris but such small apartments for high price. We looked further outside and found this great sized apartment with free street parking (we drove from the UK) It has a wonderful view over Paris and you can even see the Eiffel Tower in the distance. It is on a hill and has a staircase up to the apartment but this was no problem for us. Nice decor in-keeping with the property. All appliances you would need inc a coffee machine! Very easy check in/out. Easy reach of bus station to metro if needed. Shop very close by. Very kind, generous hosts, great communication and happy to help at any time. Would happily stay again.

French Chateau Vacation

The chateau apartment is gorgeous and was the perfect place to stay for our trip to Paris. The Ville d'Avray is a quaint village located in the suburbs with all the amenities only 5 min. walk, including grocery store, bakery, and restaurants. Public transit is close-by with buses, metro, and trains easily transporting us into the city for touring all the major landmarks, museums, cathedrals, shops and restaurants. Palace of Versaille is only a short 10 min. Uber ride and a great day trip. My husband and I spent a fabulous week at the chateau which was a comfortable, beautifully decorated, well-appointed haven to return to for relaxation after busy days touring and exploring the city. Xavier and Camille were the best hosts, very friendly, helpful and responsive to ensure we had a pleasant stay. We have travelled all over the world renting VRBO properties for over 25 years, and this chateau is one of our favorites. We can't wait to return to Paris soon, and would definitely stay there again. Merci beaucoup Xavier & Camille for making our adventures in France magnifique!

Terrific stay

Four of us stayed in the Branley apartment for two weeks, and we thoroughly enjoyed every minute there. The apartment is beautiful and commodious with a large dining area on the balcony. We had many simple meals there after long days of sightseeing. When we arrived after our long overnight flight, Xavier and Camille had arranged for a driver to take us directly to the apartment. We were greeted by a wonderful basket of goodies, French bread and Croissants. They did everything to make our stay special and are wonderful hosts. Many of our days were spent in Paris, but we also enjoyed staying in Ville d'Avray. We walked around the lakes and forests, had drinks and appetizers at Les Estang de Corot, enjoyed shopping at the local outdoor market, bought gifts at the local chocolate shop, and had an exquisite last dinner on the terrace of L'Entracte. Abundant thanks to our hosts for all of their thoughtfulness. Anne

Speechless

I’m not sure I have ever stayed in a property where the hosts have been as amazing as Xavier and Camille. The property is everything that they say it is, spacious and luxuriously appointed. The beds are sensational and the towels were soft and thirsty, with a fully appointed kitchen and 2 bathrooms. The private entrance provides a no fuss way to come and go. The location out of Paris takes about 40 minutes to arrive at by Metro, but the journey it so much part of the experience. 4 adults on this trip with ample space to relax, stretch out and chill. The local village is a 5 minute walk but we didn’t discover all of it, and the train station is a 15 minute walk. Uber was available if you preferred. We always look to stay in unique properties and this is close to top of the list. Book it, you won’t be disappointed.

Stop your search, this is the place!

I don’t think there is enough room to describe our stay. First of all, the hosts Xavier and Camille are the MOST accommodating and nice people you will meet. We were able to check in early and they even had breakfast waiting for us. Amazing. The apartment is amazing. It’s huge and beautiful. The balcony looks out over the city and you can watch the tower twinkle on it while drinking a nice glass of wine. A wonderful place to unwind after the hustle of the city. The town you are staying in is great. Out door market, great wine store, awesome bakery and a large grocery store. The apartment have a full kitchen if you prefer to cook your own meals. ANYTHING you need at anytime, Xavier can help. I can’t say enough about him. We had an amazing trip but I owe most of it to our hosts.

A luxurious apartment with a glorious view of the Paris skyline

This apartment has been a wonderful base for our Paris holiday, being convenient for both Paris and Versailles. It is a luxurious apartment with vastly more space than we could afford in the city centre, with the added benefit that we got to see the Paris skyline (including the Eiffel Tower). This is truly impressive, particularly at dawn and at dusk. To have this perspective does mean that getting into the city takes approx 1 hour by public transport, but it is a small price to pay for the less frenetic pleasures of this affluent French suburb. The apartment is really spacious, and had everything we needed. The star for us was the generous balcony where we ate our breakfasts with views over Paris. The owners could not have been more helpful, patiently coping with our many requests for advice. We highly recommend this apartment.

Lovely week just outside Paris

The apartment is beautiful, we enjoyed opening the patio doors and sitting outside. The kitchen had everything we needed + some lovely personal surprises throughout the stay. Xavier and Camille were attentive beyond our expectations, and when a member of our party fell ill, they called the pharmacist for us and even offered to take us to the doctor. We did not have a car and relied on the metro and bus. The Paris metro is not easy, pay attention to the regions and don't buy the wrong tickets. but it is quick and convenient. I wish I had not been so opposed to using Uber. When we did take an Uber or taxi it was only about 3X the cost of the metro tickets for all 4 of us, and especially at night it is much easier and quicker. We did a small load of laundry and, although they have both a washer and dryer, I was thrilled to use the hanging rack like I do at home. The beds are very comfortable, the linens plentiful and nice. I would love to stay here longer. The boulangerie/patisserie closest to the apartment had the best bread of our trip and we loved the sandwiches. We had a lovely meal at the restaurant just down the hill from the apartment that was recommended by Xavier. Don't miss Versailles. It really is amazing.

A tourist dream just outside of Paris

We arrived at the spacious, sunny apartment to find a small feast waiting for us. The cold water, cold AC, fresh baked goods, and assortment of snacks were much appreciated after a long day of travel. Xavier made sure we had everything we needed, assured us we could contact him if we needed anything, then left us to rest. It was great knowing that the owner of the property lived right below, but other than some supplies and some generous surprises left for us outside our door, you wouldn't know anyone was there. The apartment and surrounding town are like something out of a French novel, but with modern amenities! Large, beautiful, doors and windows, comfortable beds and couches, every kitchen amenity you could need, and a wonderful wraparound patio where you can see the tip of the Eiffel tower sparkle at night. The town is small and peaceful and has grocery stores, restaurants, and other amenities within walking distance or a short bus trip. Getting to and from Paris is relatively simple. The apartment is about a 15-20 minute walk to the local train station. If you'd rather not walk, lots of other options can be found in meticulously prepared binder in the apartment. We have stayed at numerous properties over the years and Xavier and Camille are without a doubt the best hosts we’ve ever had. There will be no question where we stay when we return to France.
