I’ve stayed at the Opera Opal on many occasions when travelling for work. The location is good, with metro stations close by. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable with excellent beds, and are being gradually upgraded with new fixtures and fittings even though they are not outdated.

Lovely stay in Paris

This is a comfortable hotel in a lovely, quieter area. Easy walking distance to many cafes, tourist attractions and nice shops. The hotel staff was lovely and helpful—especially Eymard, who went above and beyond to ensure I had an enjoyable stay. I definitely plan to stay here again the next time I return to Paris.

Great place close to Louv

Main reason for 4 rating was no ac. It was difficult to sleep at night with no ac given the humidity of city. Other than that, staff was very friendly and accommodating to English speaking patrons. Loved their gummy gummy sharks at the counter.

The hotel was very comfortable. We stayed in a king room that was clean and well done in decor. You just have to remember that most rooms are small and very charming in Paris. I would recommend this hotel to singles and couples. I can’t speak about the breakfast since I didn’t partake. The staff were outstanding with help with info and arranging taxi for the airport. I hope to be back very soon!

Nice cosy hotel. Area 9 is very recommendable. Many of Paris must see is in walking distance. We had a great stay at this hotel. The bed was so comfortable. Breakfast area was way too small and the food was a bit disappointing. But for us I didn’t matter that much as we chose to eat breakfast while seeing the city.

The room was lovely, clean and tidy. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Would recommend to anybody staying in Paris, easy access to the Metro for anything outside of walking distance. The only awkward thing was the shower seemed to spray a lot of water onto the bathroom floor but easy to sort with towels.
