「Laikyns Lodge is an amazing home on a beautiful sprawling property. It is a beautiful, huge log home with quality everywhere. Amazing indoor and outdoor spaces. The warm indoor pool kept 5 kids (and their parents) busy. The walk from the pool to the outdoor hot tub was cold but well worth it. On clear nights, the fire pit is a great gathering spot. 「The cabin is perfect in it’s location. It faces a pond and the host has placed two bird feeders in front of the cabin. It was great fun to watch the variations of birds( we counted 11) we watched the deer come to the pond in the morning and at dusk. We watched the fox run across the yard. We were close to Hocking State park and hiked both Friday and Saturday. It was perfect! We laughed, ate, shared stories,ate, rocked on the porch and did I say, ate?!! Also, went to Dayton for the eclipse at the Air Force Museum. The Vrbo, was clean and spacious. The layout was nice had older home charms. Has steep stairs.」

「The cabin was very clean and well appointed. My 2 grandchildren, 7 and 9, loved 'their room' on the lower level. They also enjoyed the foosball table and ping pong (although, bring your own ping pong paddles and balls). There were enough kitchen plugins to accommodate our Thanksgiving dinner appliances. The house is located on a quite street away from all neighbors and is all wooded in the back. Over all it was most enjoyable!」

「This is the second year my group has rented this property. Great price for the number of beds. Love the large activity room. Our only (minor) issue last year was that the grill was out of propane, so we had to do burgers on the skillet. Happy to report the grill was ready to go this year, and they even had a spare tank! We will likely be back next year too!」

「You won’t get claustrophobia here - open, rustic decor, feels a bit like a really big, cool man cave. Two games could use some attention — small version of foosball needs repaired or replaced; the bumper pool table needs nuts to hold down the bumpers; the jute box needs repairing as well. The hiking was outta this world! Reminds us so much of many spots in Zion National Park in Utah. Ohio’s best kept secret!」

「This property was very clean! It was an excellent getaway as there is no WiFi or cell reception. They had a nice collection of dvd’s and satellite tv. The only thing I didn’t like was the lighting inside. It was dark.」

We almost enjpyed the property as much as we did hiking in Hocking Hills. This was our 6th time in the area and this was my favorite property. House was perfect and divided enough that we didn't feel on top of one another. Beds were so comfortable! Everyone enjoyed the hot tub/swim spa. I can't say enough good things. I saw a few reviews about the cabin in need of a good cleaning. It mainly just needs the cobwebs knocked down and the fan blades dusted off. other than that, it was clean and comfortable.
