"The property itself was very nice and in a convenient location. The food was actually very good (only tried the buffet) and we really loved the 24h parking garage. The resort accommodates too many guests for its size. The pool was full at all times of the day and there were soo many kids! "Great location and a very beautiful rose garden for breakfast and lovely dinners. Rooms are large, but a little older; however, still very nice. The hotel food and drinks are VERY expensive. We are from the United States, and you can expect prices as much as New York City and Los Angeles for food and drinks. The staff was mostly friendly but not over-the-top accommodating. Morning staff at breakfast seemed irritable, and the front desk was hit or miss with friendliness"

"Great location close to the Lido, rooms are very well maintained and spacious. We had a pool and sea view room with a balcony which was great. The breakfast was very varied with an excellent choice and range of food including cereals, fruit, pastries, cold meats, cheese and cooked breakfast options. The reception staff were very efficient, friendly and helpful. Bar staff around the pool were friendly and welcoming. The buffet dinner was also excellent with a good variety of choices. The pool area was very well kept, the indoor pool was quieter and the outdoor pool was busier but we were always able to find a sun bed and it never seemed crowded. Overall it was a great location for exploring the island of Madiera. We would recommend it."
