This property is absolutely 5 star from start to finish! The decor is beautiful and very tastefully done,spacious with the most beautiful views of the ocean. We spent a lot of time on the veranda just admiring them and watching the boats go past.The kitchen is amazing and so well stocked I actually don’t think we’ve ever stayed anywhere else that has a kitchen that had EVERYTHING you would need. And this apartment is immaculate- there was not an ounce of dust, dirt or even a fingerprint anywhere. The cleaners are fantastic! The complex itself is beautifully kept with lovely flowers and tress etc,and the pools are great,loads of sunbeds and a restaurant and snack bar. We spent a lot of time chilling there.The location is fab, central to get to all the beaches, restaurants and tourist attractions.Rodney is fabulous- he gave us lots of recommendations, things to do etc and nothing was too much trouble for him. He’s on hand for everyone and everything . Honestly this property deserves its constant 5 star reviews, it was amazing from start to finish and I don’t think we will be staying anywhere else from now on when we visit Barbados as it has set the bar so high for future visits! We Loved it!

Rodney's apartment was more stunning than the photographs. The rooms were spacious, AC was excellent, lots of amenities in the apartment and very well stocked with supplies etc.The property is a 1 min walk to a beautiful beach. The property has everything you need for the beach-seats, snorkels, towels, cool box.There are pools available for use and not too busy.The restaurant, little coffee shop was also a fantastic asset.Rodney communicated constantly, giving itineries for restaurants, sight seeing etc. He was constantly available and so kind and helpful. He made our experience the best ever.

We had the most amazing stay at Rodneys place! The experience started months in advance with Rodney emailing or whatsapping us with recommendations of restuarants or activities for the family. When we arrived we even managed to get an early check-in so the kids could enjoy the pool. The complex is impressive but the condo is out of this world. Its huge, incredibly clean and the views are 10/10. Rodney is an artist and he had created such a welcoming space filled with incredible touches like local flowers and amazing artwork. Dont hesitate, just book it. We were so sad to leave not only the condo, but Rodney also who became more like a friend, without being overbearing!

We cannot praise enough and whole heartedly recommend this beautiful spacious vacation property and its gracious host, Rodney. It is beautifully furnished and meticulously maintained and has full access to the onsite amenities - pools, spa… Access to incredible restaurants and beaches are a walk, bus or taxi away! Rodney has fabulous intel on everything from where to go for fine dining, the best beaches, fishing …..Honestly we will be back and would stay nowhere else!! Oh and the sunset views from the covered balcony are spectacular!!

Amazing Experience in Every Way

We had a lovely stay in Paynes Bay. Rodney was very helpful with information and booking cars, jet skis etc. The apartment is part of a hotel complex which is quite useful and the views are spectacular! The apartment itself is very well stocked and the air con is great too. Great base for exploring Barbados and swimming in the pool or sea with great snorkelling on the doorstep!

Beach view luxury

A fantastic holiday which was made by the quality of the property and the help of Rodney who runs the show. The apartment is developed to an extremely high standard in terms of furnishings and appliances and was impeccably clean and well maintained. It was a delight to see the extra treats that were left for us on arrival which made us feel at home immediately. The location of the property both in the complex of beach view but also generally on the west coast was ideal for the best beaches and restaurants. Rodney is the star of the show - nothing is too much trouble - dinner reservations, excursions, travel and entertainment - everything was taken care of. I would highly recommend the property and will certainly be returning again.

Paradise!

We could not have asked for a better property or host for our recent trip to Barbados. Rodney goes above and beyond to make sure that everyone’s stay is a fantastic and memorable experience. The property and setting are beautiful. We were close to everything and had all of the amenities we could have wanted. Amazing vacation

We had an amazing vacation and Rodney helped make that happen. He was always available to make recommendations and book meals and activities for us, both before we arrived and while we were on Barbados. Monique was also lovely and cleaned for us 3 times during our 2 weeks there. We will definitely be back as the apartment is great, the views amazing, and the location central to many things.

Outstanding Stay at the Beachview 309

Our stay was superb and communication with Rodney was 5 star. Before we even arrived Rodney was so helpful emailing us restaurant, bar, beach clubs, attractions and beach suggestions to make our visit the best! Upon arrival Rodney met us at the condo and gave us a tour of the beautiful property. The condo was stunning and spotless. Well prepared with everything we could need to stay in comfort. The view from the patio was the absolute best part of the condo. We could have sat there all day watching the ocean. Rodney had great beach toys and chairs available for a fun day at the beach. Pools on property were lovely. All in all it was one of our favourite trips to Barbados and we will be sure to be back and stay at 309 again! Thanks so much Rodney!!!! ❤️

Ten stars out of five!!!

This was our family's (my wife and I and three teenage daughters) first time to Barbados and my wife found this condo within minutes of looking on the Internet all based on its prior reviews. And, we can say with utmost confidence that both the property and Rodney lived up to it's expectation and more. The property or shall I condo is spacious, conveniently located and tastefully decorated by Rodney who is also an accomplished artist. That explains why it looks so good! We ate about half our meals in the condo during our stay so this was our perfect home away from home. As for Rodney, what can we say!? He was amazing, a difference maker really, and in the end our family now has a new friend. He was more than we could have asked for. Rodney was knowledgeable, reliable, helpful, responsive and very collaborative. He guided us to build a vacation that added structure with a purpose while enjoying time to relax, soak up the weather, the beaches and the ocean. With Rodney's help we ate at many great restaurants, saw the island and made sure we had timely and safe transportation wherever we needed to go. Whatever we needed Rodney was their to assist and always followed up to ensure everything was going smoothly. In the end, the whole trip was simply easy and Rodney is a huge part of this outcome. For that we are grateful. If you choose 309 (the number of the condo) we hope you create as many family memories as we did in the time we were there. Thank you Rodney!!!

Beautiful Sea View Property and Amazing Host

Our family group of six adults enjoyed our stay immensely. The property is amazing - wonderful sea views and a comfortable outdoor terrace to enjoy them from, fully equipped kitchen, beds and baths providing everything you could possibly need during your stay. Rodney himself is delightful, a consummate host who takes great pleasure in curating a special Barbados holiday experience for his guests. Right from booking to check-out, Rodney was there for us with helpful recommendations and support. Natasha the housekeeper did a fantastic job of cleaning and replenishing the beautiful local flowers regularly during our 12 night stay. Magical - Memories to Last a Lifetime - Thank you Rodney

It is very difficult to put into words how memorable and magical this family holiday was. Covid has made many reevaluate their priorities and almost everyone seems to conclude that experiences and memories are right at the top of what living is all about. We came to try to find these special moments. Barbados itself is beautiful and helps relax the soul, but genuinely Penthouse 309 and more specifically its wonderful host make this the most memorable experience you will likely ever have. To stay at Penthouse 309 with its very special host should be on every persons bucket list. We feel incredibly lucky as a family to have spent 16 nights there over Xmas. Rodney is the host of Penthouse 309 who exudes endless positivity, glorious creativity, deep care, unrivalled kindness and so much more. Rodney allows these special memories to be created by being the very best host in the business - providing customer service which is unsurpassed - a level of care you will unlikely encounter anywhere else. Everything is taken care of so perfectly from the moment you land on the island. From the best tables in every restaurant to the very best advice and itinerary you could wish for. The reputation Rodney has is being the very best host on the island - its amazing how highly people speak of him. A brand in his own right. Thank you, thank you, thank you Rodney!! The penthouse is simply amazing, everything you could ever want is there - so stylish and cool. So much care put into every single part of it - from the flowers to the amazing art Rodney has created. The view from the balcony is simply unbelievable and we are miss it so much. Sitting on the balcony in the morning when you walk up is very special indeed. Personally I have also never slept any better in the comfortable beds! I cannot recommend this experience in any stronger words. We had the most fantastic time at apartment 309. Rodney is definitely the perfect superhost. Due to Covid we have had to carry this holiday over from last year and Rodney was constantly in touch with us over the last 18 months and he fully prepared us on the protocols before our arrival. The penthouse is spacious with an amazing outdoor living room and a great view. It is fully equipped in every area - especially in the kitchen and an amazing range of toiletries in the bathrooms. The beds are extremely comfortable. Rodney is a very friendly host with a wealth of local knowledge. He never failed to get us booked into the restaurants & trips we wanted. The Bay View complex is lovely with 3 pools and all the staff made us feel welcome. Whilst we were there, it was our daughter's ( Ella ) 18th birthday - what better place to celebrate it . Rodney booked us on a Cool Running's catamaran trip which was great and even managed to rustle up a bottle of pink fizz and a card for her. Many thanks Rodney. We had some memorable times and meals at the Seashed Beach Bar , Nishi restaurant in Holetown and Pier One at the yacht club in Port St Charles. We also enjoyed the cocktails at the Drift Ocean Terrace in Holetown and dining out at several other restaurants. Barbados is a fantastic destination for a holiday and we cannot recommend Rodney and penthouse 309 highly enough. Everybody is extremely friendly. Thank you Rodney & Barbados for a great time. We hope to see you again, very soon Rodney.

Beyond Expecation

Extraordinary island, extraordinary apartment, and a most extraordinary host. My wife and I flew from the States to this sanctuary on March 1st. Upon our arrival, Rodney met us at his penthouse apartment and cared for us like it was a 5-Star resort. Inside we were greeted with the best the island has to offer; it’s best chocolate, bread, coffee, rum, and an assortment of drinks and other edibles. The apartment was comfortable, spacious, and extremely well appointed. Every room had fresh flowers from the island that were replaced weekly. My wife and I travel often using Home Away and AirBnB hosts. One of my pet peeves is when we have to supply the entire apartment with the necessities such as wash soap, toilet paper, etc. Rodney had everything available in duplicate. Even when we purchased something we thought we needed, we found the same product available somewhere in the apartment. Rodney doesn’t miss anything. He made every one of our dinner reservations at the best restaurants. Even when we procrastinated, he found us table. He arranged all of our transportation with Derek Skeete, a taxi driver (if Derek had a website I could write a book regarding his efforts, service, and care). When the washer stopped working, Rodney had people there the next day to fix it. Nothing was difficult and we were never inconvenienced. The view, the pool and the people at Beach View were friendly and exceptional. My wife and I planned this trip for 1 ½ years to stay for a month and we had to leave early due to the coronavirus pandemic. Rodney and I had long talks regarding how the pandemic would affect the island. He was more worried about his friends and the island as a whole than he was himself though he too would experience the wrath of this pandemic. When my wife and I were discussing leaving, Rodney offered to make sure we would be housed if we couldn’t get home (think about that…he knew us for a few weeks and he was willing to make sure we were cared for). I want everyone reading this review to plan a stay with Rodney Arthur and the people of Barbados. In light of the world chaos around us, I couldn’t have been more impressed with how Rodney orchestrated our stay. My wife emphatically stated….”we get a do over”. Choose Rodney.

Fantastic, contemporary penthouse - Splendid View, Relax & More! Immaculate and stylish with everything you need. Well appointed furnishings, full kitchen and perfect balcony for ultimate relax and sunsets. Several lovely pools on-site and easy beach access. Rodney, the manager, is beyond helpful, professional and amazing! He knows this island paradise, offering an abundance of excellent insider knowledge and guidance. The trip was definitely dazzling with his suggestions and active help.... he goes above & beyond!! We golfed at Sandy Lane and Royal Westmoreland Golf Club.... stunning views with generous fairways. Our family enjoyed a private sunset cruise/ snorkeling with the sea turtles/shipwreck - arranged by Rodney. Perfect way to end our charming week. Many fab ($$$) restaurants within walking distance or short taxi away. Just saying.... 1 week is not enough time to explore everything! The island is larger than most think.... so take extra time to visit the Southside eateries/shopping/surfing scene. Don't miss Friday Fish Fry at Oistins with local arts vendors. St. Lawrence Gap and Maxwell's Beach has many more casual dining options and local flavor. Perfect for families, girls' trips or couples.... it has so much to offer - with relaxation and sunsets premier!

Perfection - Magical beyond Words - Penthouse 309 and The Legend that is called Rodney

It’s hard to put into words how magical our experience was in Barbados at Penthouse 309 in the Beach View hotel with Rodney as our host. This was a holiday when all the vital ingredients came together to create memories that will last forever. The ingredients: Barbados - simply paradise! Beach View - Such a great place. The pools are amazing. Everything is so very clean. The staff are incredibly friendly. The facilities are exceptional. Incredible views from all angles. Trust me when I say that you can pay 3 times as much and you won’t get half the quality. Penthouse 309 - this is the start of the special, secret ingredients which made this trip so special. The penthouse is simply amazing. So very beautiful in its decor - modern and sleek. From a massive curved screen TV (with Netflix etc) to every kitchen facility you could dream of, the quality is outstanding. The beds are so comfortable along with the linen. Each of the 3 bedrooms are so spacious The color scheme and furnishings are wonderful. It felt instantly like a home from home. The balcony and the views are beyond spectacular - trust me, you won’t forget the first time you see the ocean after opening the large patio doors. It was a pleasure to wake up every morning to that view and a delight to watch the mind blowing sunsets Rodney - This is the man who makes all the above come together. This man is unlike anyone you will EVER deal with in any realm of hospitality. A true hero. A gentlemen beyond words. Such a talent. Trust me - I run a property management company and I know detail and great great people! This is a man who cares so so deeply about his guests and strives for perfection in every single area of what he does. This eye for care & detail was felt during every second of our trip. The penthouse for example is looked after so meticulously by Rodney - it’s as if he’s foreseen every possible want or desire you may have. It’s amazing really - only a pure talent would be able to do as he does. For over a year before the trip, Rodney was in touch offering kind advise and help. During the trip, every single detail was organised perfectly by Rodney. From all our restaurant bookings (and changes - sorry Rodney!), activities, car hire, what beach to go to daily (!) and just priceless advise on how to navigate the island. We are truly grateful for all his help - life is about creating memories and Rodney has been instrumental in making these memories so special. Thank you!!!!!!

Amazing property and excellent manager

Beautifully appointed spacious apartment with everything you need for your holiday, the beach chairs and umbrellas were great. Surrounding gardens and pool areas immaculate. We never tired of watching the sun set over the sea from our huge balcony. Beautiful quiet beach , restaurants and bars only short walk away. Thank you Rodney for your help and prompt replies during the booking process, for an amazing stock of food and drink on arrival and for advice on places to go. We all had a truly wonderful time.
