"Our room was clean, spacious, and had a fine view of the sea. The hosts were affable and eager to help, and the food was excellent. There is a large outdoor swimming pool nearby with a heated section that is well worth investigating."

- This is a basement Flat and should have been listed as one
- It can get rather noisy upstairs with banging and a dog running around
- If you are afraid of Dogs, although the connecting door upstairs oppsoite the bathroom is locked, there was a few times the dog was heard near the door.

"The lodge was clean, well presented and in a convenient location to the main places of interest. The property was very small (smaller than we realised) and located on a very busy main road with a view of business warehouses opposite. There were alot of traffic queues and it was tricky trying to get in and out of the property in the car. However, once inside the property you could not hear much traffic noise which was good.
The property accepted pets, but there was nowhere to exercise them...
"The cottage is fine and it is in a nice location BUT the details of the cottage listed on the Expedia website and Sykes Cottages are different and misleading. Expedia shows the cottage to be within the Penzance city centre & 8 minute walk from the ferry terminal. The cottage is 8 miles (13 kms.) from the Penzance city centre. "We had an amazing stay here. The property feels very spacious even though there were 8 of us, and the views are just stunning. The kitchen is well equipped so cooking dinner each night was a breeze.
