「It was amazing seeing all the different birds from their restaurant patio. I saw way more kinds of birds including two tucans from here than from the actual birds watching tours. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Nice city view too. 」

「The owners were so helpful! They had food delivered to us as we didn't have a car and scheduled a taxi for us to go to the ATM. Over and above! Howler monkeys very cool to hear in the jungle. 」

「This house is truly one of a kind. It felt like stepping into The Croods (the movie)—living in a cave, but an incredibly luxurious one! The kids said it was like being in a fairytale and were genuinely sad to leave. Tucked away by the river and off the beaten path, it had everything we needed for a magical stay.」

「Was a bit hard to fine..better signage would be beneficial. Closest hotel to Cero Chirripo. Host was WONDERFUL..great communication. Accommodations are basic but the cabins have refrig/microwave. CLEAN and comfortable. 」

「Juan and Ana made us feel so welcome to their tropical oasis in the jungle. Now if you are looking for a place with A/C and giant TVs this is not for you. If you want to sleep immersed in the sounds of jungle, with a steam running along the property, this is the place! We have traveled the whole of Costa Rica now; this is our favorite place so far!
