Tweakers hang out in the back of property. Make sure to ask for a room up front. The whole property smells of cigarettes. I think the office people smoke pretty heavily.

The staff is excellent and super nice and caring, but the room was filthy. There was dog hair all over the floor. Human hair all over the shower in the bathroom floor. There was even dog hair in the bed on the pillows and on the nightstand. It was pretty evident that the room had not been cleaned. Also, the shower did not drain properly so the water crept up halfway up the tub. The shower had a really gross film. You could scratch it off with your fingernail. I’ve had a great experience here in the past, but this was enough to not make me ever come back. No one wants to sleep in a bed that has dog hair in it! Made me worried that maybe the sheets weren’t even washed.

Comfortable bed. It’s a very basic room and that’s why it’s cheap. No toiletries. I missed the fact there wasn’t a hair dryer, but one was available in the office. The fridge has a small freezer which is nice for keeping ice frozen. Also no coffee pot in room. I was close to the office so not a big deal to get some in the office. Staff was very nice.

This is an inexpensive property - no secret there. However, it is kept very clean. I saw not a speck of trash anywhere outside with plenty waste baskets available. Our room was spotlessly clean. Again, basic but comfortable.

After using several Motel 6 properties on an extended road trip two years ago, I had pretty much decided to give up on Motel 6 since some of the properties did not include a microwave or refrigerator. Apparently they were too easy to steal. But the property in Pendleton resurrected my opinion of Motel 6. This location had a microwave and refrigerator, and the room was clean and had enough space for my too-extensive collection of items that I bring in from the car. I had some concern about noise from the adjacent I-84, but it didn't keep me from sleeping. I stayed here one January night in 2007, so the place is not new, but it has been well taken care of.

I booked through a third party site so I didn't know how many of the inconveniences were due to that. We booked an accessible room, but were placed in one that wasn't quite accessible for a wheelchair. I made it work. I think maybe we were placed in that particular room because it was the closest to the office so it was very easy to access, but I'm really not sure. We were supposed to be booked for a queen bed, but were placed in a room with only a double. Again, we just made it work. It was nice to have a fridge and microwave right there in the room, but where it was placed was so tight I could barely navigate my standard size wheelchair into the bathroom. There were no bath towels in the room so my husband had to dry off with hand towels. The shower head came up to my 6'4 husband's shoulder so showering wasn't a wonderful experience for him. It was only for one night, so we didn't make a fuss, but there were pros and cons. It was VERY noisy starting at about 6:00 am. We could hear people tromping around upstairs and slamming car doors outside, it was a bit hard to sleep through that. I did request a room on the first floor, there's no elevator and my wheelchair doesn't go upstairs so well. I did get a response from them after booking that I was confirmed for a room on the first floor. I appreciated that.

Its as good as a motel 6 can be. Its clean. The bed was comfortable. Internet was good enough to stream. Solid stay for the money. They need to have 4 pillows to a bed. Not 2.
