Lovely stay

Had a lovely stay in this property and perfectly designed for either two families or larger families where adults can have separate space. The house had everything we needed and was a home from home with a lovely view of the lake. I can’t recommend enough and we’ll be definitely back.

Ladies' walking group

Great house for a group, to die for views, very comfortable , lots of communal space. Slight communication problems but it was all resolved swiftly. We would definitely book again.

Great house to explore the Lakes

We were a family group with ages ranging from 4 to 80 and this was a great house. Very well kitted out and newly renovated to a high standard. We were happy to be able to split our time and cook at home, but also take advantage of being super close to a pub and to Another Place for spa/posh food/etc. It was very easy to get to other places and the bus runs by for pooley bridge and Glenridding regularly. The neighbour sells his own honey, which was delicious. The beds and bedrooms were all very comfortable; each room is en-suite. The top floor and lounge have lovely views onto ullswater. The separate TV room was perfect for kids to settle into and have their own space while adults relaxed in the lounge. Note to others, there wasn’t any tea/coffee or leftover oils etc from previous guests so I suggest making sure you have a delivery or stop at a local shop en route. The Pooley Bridge shop (upstairs from the off license) has an amazing array of local goodies which we highly recommend! We would book again as it was a great space and would work well for friends or couples or families, rain or shine.
