The outside space was good and lovely to have the hills around, We did have problems using the very modern microwave/grill and cooker - It needed DETAILED WRITTEN INSTRUCTIONS! and we would have preferred an ordinary electric kettle. A corkscrew, too would have been useful!But, we enjoyed a wonderful 2 days"

The inside of the lodge is decorated lovely and well laid out, and the beds were super comfy. The hot tub is under a covered deck area so could be used while raining which was a huge plus. After a long journey (4 hour drive) I turned up late at night 10pm on Friday and they were welcoming, able to show me around, spoke enthusiastic re the building, pointing out the footpath to the Lake, and I was able to get a night cap, had a good nights sleep and was ready for breakfast the next day."
