“Excellent accommodation, perfect for exploring the lakes. Just off the A66 with plenty of parking. I stayed 3 nights in the single room. It was warm, cosy and comfortable with a nice en-suite bathroom. Great food with vegetarian and vegan option. Very reasonably priced and friendly and helpful hosts, I would highly recommend. ”

“The room was spacious and clean. The cooked breakfast was well presented, hot and filling, particurally after avert varied choice of cereals,fruit and yoghurt. The owners were interested in what we were doing and ensured we had the best experience that they could offer.”

“Food and service were excellent. Comfortable room, but stairs very narrow. Headroom an issue because of low ceilings in places. Very windy the evening we were there and it felt we were in a “wind tunnel”. Not a problem for us, as we were v. tired. Would definitely stay again.”
