Great location

Enjoyed our stay at Pelican Isle! It was quiet and location was great. Bed was comfortable and it was great having two bathrooms. I took the master and my husband took the secondary. Worked out great. Will stay again!

Extended Weekend

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our 2nd visit to this property and plan on it again for next year. The condo owners take great care of this unit. Perfect view from 5th floor! We also appreciate that we have access to beach chairs and umbrella every day. The service on the beach is great. We would like to suggest that the door latch be placed on the patio door and replace the living room carpet with flooring. Other than that - it is spectacular!!!

Bugs Again

We stayed here in 2019 on a first level unit that had bed bugs. We couldn't believe we accidentally booked the same condo complex again by mistake. There were bugs in the living room furniture that were not taken care of even after they came and "sprayed" which we had to request twice before they came. The bed was terribly uncomfortable and we couldn't enjoy the balcony or beach without constant smoking of not only ciggrettes but majuriana too. We will NEVER make the same mistake and stay here again and I hope no one else makes this mistake either.

enjoyed Pelican Isle 502

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Condo was clean and lovely. Plenty of towels. Front desk staff were extremely nice. Enjoyed the easy access to the beach and convenient parking. View was fantastic. Condo was quiet for sleeping even thought at least one neighbor had kids. Kitchen was convenient for quick breakfast before heading to beach.A couple of problems: TV in living room, remote doesn't work. Had problems watching a movie. Ceiling fan in master makes a weird noise and knob on master closet falling off. Too much June grass (seaweed) but that is out of control of Pelican Isle.

6 glorious weeks on Ft. Walton Beach

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My wife and I had the opportunity to stay for 6 weeks on the beautiful whilte sands of Ft. Walton Beach. We had a wonderful stay. The unit we were in would be perfect for a family with 2-3 children. The bunk beds and 2nd bathroom work well. The onsite manager resolved several issues in a very efficient manner. All rentals will occasionally have issues, the important thing is having them handled. Walking to the desk is much faster than trying to track down a VRBO absentee owner! This area is much less dense with development and people than Destin. This is the place to stay. Within 8 miles of all Destin restaurants and amusements.Wide beaches and clear water. The beach chairs and umbrella were great. Lifequards are active when needed.

Like coming home

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our first time in unit 502 but have been staying at Pelican Isle since it was built. This unit was very nice well appointed and we were very pleased with it. We had some issues with the property but not the individual unit.The biggest disappointment was that this unit comes with a covered parking space and the entire covered garage was closed due to broken pipes and nothing was done all week long to begin repairs and so we were without our covered parking spot. Also most of the week one of the elevators was down. Finally got it fixed 2 days before we left. We have no issues with the unit or Brooks and Shorey but the maintenance of the building itself seems not to be what it should be.
