This historic building was built in the 1800's & completely renovated with new appliances in 2024. Walk to the local restaurants, museums, and coffee shops in your back yard!

The university is the first fully supported, four year institution for African Americans in the United States and is one of two land-grant colleges in the State of Virginia. The university was founded on March 6, 1882 as the Virginia Normal and College Institute after the state legislature passed a bill sponsored by Delegate Alfred W. Harris, a black attorney, which chartered the university. The little apartment and its location were perfect for us! Being right in front of the coffee shop, and within walking distance of most things downtown, provided an easy access route for us!The apartment was clean, had small amenities that we might have forgotten, and was decorated super cute!If you are in the Petersburg area, this was a great location. Military graduation

Came for my brother’s graduation at fort Greg adams. Place was clean very close to everything, and host was very thoughtful an made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. Would definitely recommend staying here.
