"This place is a gem on a street lined with multiple chain hotels. I was curious about the "retro" theme, and I was not disappointed. Quite, clean, and unique are exactly what I wanted. I would stay again."

"Always feel welcome with this host. Nice quiet stay with 2 lovable dogs that will come over to love on you if you let them. "

"This was our first time staying here and likely won't be the last. Everything was clean, and most everything was well maintained less the elevator. It might be one of the more loud operating ones I've used. It worked without issue but was much louder than other in different hotels I've stayed in recently. Parking was a non issue but, snow/ice removal from the walking surfaces between the parking lot and the front entrance could stand a little improvement. There was definitely a need to pick where to walk to avoid a slip and fall situation. Breakfast was well presented and had a good variety. The room was clean and in a good state of repair."

"Overall we had a great experience here. They went above and beyond to accommodate us as we arrived late. This made a huge difference to us as we had driven from Dallas that day and were very tired. The rooms were very cozy and clean. They were kind and accommodating of our cats as well. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in Cortez. Thanks again!"
