Clean, modern room. Pam was great checking me in and even called later to make sure everything was ok. The breakfast was great: scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, and make your own waffle. Complimentary snacks at the office.

For the price, it was okay. Place looked old from the exterior and were separate buildings so have to walk outside (raining when we were there) to get to the lobby. We looked at the breakfast and it didn’t look appetizing so we decided to skip.

Staff was super friendly and helpful! They made the stay. The breakfast was also good. Be warned, the gym is only a bike, treadmill and elliptical - no weights - in case that matters to you.

This was an ok place to stay. We had to ask for a coffee maker for our room. Our room had a smell. Luckily we has an air freshener. We put dryer sheets on the air conditioner to keep it fresh. Was dusty room. Breakfast was fair.

Parking was not great. I was supposed to get free breakfast starting at 6:30am, was there at 6:45am and all was still locked up. I had to leave by 7:00 so no breakfast, disappointing.

First off this is an older hotel but it's nonetheless quite nice and comfortable. It's in a good part of town, not far from a large grocery store (important if your making any hikes, treks in the nearby parks and trails as you can then make your own sandwiches and buy ample beverages for your journeys). The room was clean and HUGE with ample parking. The bed was comfortable and the bedding, especially the pillows were excellent. The town is great, a bit quaint but inviting. I saw there were two "old school" movie theaters in operation on the main drag which if I were staying longer I would have gone to... . Local people are approachable and friendly. Again, this is an older hotel but well kept and close to everything you could want at an affordable price.

Excellent hotel! I stay in cortez twice a year every year and this is hands down the best place in town that I've tried so far, will definitely book here next time instead of trying new places like usual. Just an exceptionally welcoming front desk staff, super clean and cozy room, and amazing breakfast!
