“Beautiful place, quiet, so peaceful. This place is true therapy. Breakfast was delicious. The owners are professional, and very nice. Highly recommended. ”
“Stayed at the Light Horse Inn for two nights. Absolutely loved it. You have to manage expectations because this isn't an ultra modern hotel with a restaurant, bar workout facilities, etc. However if you love history, antiques and the charm of a very unique stay, Light Horse Inn is for you. The room was very large and decorated with timeless antiques. They are very responsive via text for any questions, concerns. The chef, I believe her name was Megan made me a to go breakfast because I could……
“The location was fantastic for visiting Harper's Ferry, Sweet Run State Park. Gas and convenience store across street. Proprietors friendly upfront and honest, showed room and told wifi wasn't working before check in.
Frig, microwave in room, many channels on tv. Bathroom clean, bed fine. Minutes from Potomac and Shenandoah rivers plus parks.
Would not recommend to families too small, nothing to do, no food options nearby. Room met my needs, but edges were dirty, damage to wall, bathroom……
“To begin with, Alyssa did a fantastic job of checking us in. Although it was her first solo night at the desk, she was fast and pleasant. The hotel is older, but everything was clean and inviting. The mattresses were firm, and the most comfortable that I’ve ever experienced in a hotel setting. The water pressure in the shower was great and there was an ample supply of towels. Although I skipped it, my husband enjoyed the breakfast.. Finally, the price was equal to the value of the stay. We would……
“It was a great experience and weekend. We liked it because it was close to the casino. And it was 9 miles away from my husband's cousin who we got to visit while we were there.”
“A place to relax, watch the stars or enjoy a soak in the tub - this is a warm and welcoming place to come. From Tina welcoming us at door, the cozy breakfast room, and spectacular views. Come and enjoy the view and the history of the area. ”
