This room was really nice! Very cozy. Bed was comfy. Only had one roll of tissue but there is a small store across the street. Great location. Walking distance to everything. There are no views from the windows but we used the room for sleeping. There was an issue with the door to the building but it was handled expeditiously. Overall, I would stay here again.

This was a great place to stay. Historic building, lots of character. Room 2 was well situated, though if there are upstairs neighbors you can hear them loudly above you. Room was clean and comfortable, and the manager was responsive to needs. I would absolutely stay here again.

I lived just a block from this property 10 years ago and I still love the neighborhood. Central to everything, very lovely but still safe and quiet at night. This particular room was on the ground floor and I chose it bc I knew I’d have my big stroller and my 3yo daughter with me. I was a little nervous staying on the ground floor without my husband but like I said I knew the neighborhood so I figured it would be find with lots of doors between me and the outside. Unfortunately the door into the building was not lockable - the latch it was taped open. There was an addition door to the alley that had a deadbolt that was also not locked despite a sign that said “this door to remain locked at all times”. When I reached out to the hose upon check in they responded very apologetically that they would look into it asap and then let me know it was due to maintenance being done in the building that would be completed on Sunday (I checked in on Friday). I appreciated the fast response but it certainly made me uneasy - however they did let me know that the building was under 24 hr surveillance so that helped.My only other note is that the remotes are solar powered and the one in the bedroom drove me nuts! I’m not sure if it was not charging well or what but it worked only half the time. I never let the host know so not their fault, just heads up.Overall - It was great for what we needed and I love the location any neighborhood.
