「Overall a really good property at a reasonable price. With a few improvements this place would have five stars but the would not let that deter me from another stay. Plenty of room, clean house with everything you need to feel at home. My only recommendation is to get some actual bed pillows instead of the decorative ones that are on the beds.」

「Booked this place to propose to my partner and it was amazing! It definitely helped us relax and healed our souls. We miss it. The peacefulness listening to nature and the waves hit was just perfect. We were also able to go out and explore the rest of the UP which was much cooler than I had expected. 「This is a truly beautiful property! The home was comfortable and well stocked. A somewhat secluded location perfectly situated on the shore. Communication with Todd was spectacular, very responsive. My only regret is that we didn’t use the sauna more, the post swim in Lake Superior is an experience. I look forward to retuning soon!」

「This home was compact, but very clean and had many thoughtful touches like well-placed night lights, a good bread knife, etc. The hosts checked in with us to be sure we had no problems and we were doing fine. The home is on a highway, so there is a bit road noise, but it is located so that neither Copper Harbor or Houghton seemed too far to go. The house book had some good recommendations for restaurants and we had a nice meal at Fitzgerald's. It was great to have the ability to do some laundry...

「Stella’s Hideaway is the best place we’ve stayed at in the UP. Our family has been coming up to the UP in the spring for the past 5 years and have stayed at numerous VRBO homes in various states. This home was by far the best. It has everything you need in the home. It has plenty of bedrooms that made it perfect for our adult kids and our grandkids to have a room. It’s fully stocked and the owner provides a special bowl of MI made snacks. It’s very clean. The owner was very nice to deal with....

「Worth every penny! Anything you think you might need is already there. Home is beautiful and spotless. Hot tub and massage chair were a treat and all the wood for campfires that we needed.
