「This is a room above a pub. It is the cleanest room I have ever stayed in. It is small but functional with a comfortable bed. The staff are excellent and extremely accommodating. Breakfast is free and so is the clean fresh air. Food is excellent and the place is pet friendly. Its about 35 mins to the ferry but worth the journey.」

「Room small and cramped, ensuite outside of the room but for the price ok for 1 night」

「The staff were all manarable and attentive . The rooms were spotless and comfy beds and pillows.」

「Clare was amazing from the start. The check in process was very smooth. We had a lot of space, the fittings were of high quality but the sofa and carpet could do with being replaced. I would definitely stay here again as it was very close to the beach, which is so lovely in this part of the world, but next time we would definitely fly to Scotland!」

「The property was very relaxing and our stay was enjoyable. Unfortunatatly the property was looking rate tired. The cooker was difficult to use and when it did work was not very effective. The freezer needed defrosting We could not use the dish waste as the washer tablet compartment would not stay closed. With a little TLC with property would be excelent」

「Really nice room. Bathroom was lovely (some hairs in sink when we arrived, but not that a big deal). There was a wedding on in the hotel, with music heard thumping in our room until quite late (we’re not killjoys, but it was impossible to sleep and very loud). It would have been good to know this when booking, as we would have looked elsewhere. Called down to ask reception and they were dismissive and a bit rude. Also loud music heard in room in the morning as well.」

「This was a great find for our party of 6 and in an excellent location in Girvan. The accommodation was wonderful with well furnished spacious rooms and the kitchen was well equipped. Lovely area for walking and for golf. The only slight negative were the mattresses which could have been firmer.」

「We liked how clean and fresh this property was. We found it very comfortable. Milk, teabags, coffee, wheaten bread, butter, cheese, oil and spices were all provided, as well as fresh flowers. There was an abundance of local animals to enjoy watching: horses, cows, sheep and housemartins. The pool table in the sun room was a welcome addition. All the bedrooms were spacious with excellent quality bedding. The downstairs master suite was particularly attractive. We would love to return! 」
