"We stayed for one night at Skyland in the Shenandoah National Park on a recent visit to Virginia. We booked a ‘Traditional Room with 2 Queen beds’. The room was lodge style with a small terrace. Check-in was easy and we were able to park outside our room. The amenities and the room are basic and ‘tired’, but as expected. The beds were comfortable but the quality of the bedding was best described as ‘old’. The room had a musty smell but appeared clean. Although there was wifi it wasn’t really usable. We had breakfast in the restaurant which was reasonably priced. The hotel, although basic and not cheap, is in a great location. We enjoyed walking the Stony Man route to watch a beautiful sunset and then hiking a few other routes to enjoy the beauty of the National Park. "

"We had a very memorable stay at Cabin Fever II. The cabin was very clean, with everything we could need for our stay, including board games and games to play outside on the lawn. We enjoyed sitting around the fire-pit and looking at the stars. The cabin is well placed for exploring the area with access to Skyline Drive and Shenandoah National Park only a 10 minute drive away.The host was so lovely and very helpful - we will definitely be back!"

"House was as advertised though a bit further off the road then I expected resulting in a very quiet secluded stay. It was pet friendly which was great though hardwood floors so you have to be careful. The house had every amenity for the most part you could need. The Host communication was easy, and timely, extremely responsive and amenable to check in check out time flexibility. "

"We had an amazing time during our week at the Spidey Lodge. The place was exactly as described, and we thought the place felt bigger than the sq footage. Every inch of the place and decor was well thought out, and it was more than enough room for our family of 4. The kids fell in love with the Spidey/Marval themed game room/entertainment space that was completed detached from the house. We had a hard time getting them to leave. We all enjoyed the hot tub as it was clean and well maintained. The property is extremely dog friendly, with a fenced in area, which included a waste station. A first in several places we have stayed. The Host was incredible and promptly responded to any questions we had throughout the trip. Everything worked as expected. Plenty of wood was provided for the firepit, which allowed the kids to make smores with the smores kits provided by the host. Such a nice touch. Overall, this is one of the best places we have stayed at in many years of travel. Less than 5 miles from town and the Caverns, but still private and quiet. You will not be disappointed. We are already looking at booking another trip in the future.V/R,"

"We loved our stay! It's peaceful and the property was the perfect getaway. It's close to Luray for shopping/dining/entertainment but also perfect to just hang out there and avoid people lol. Also, so many cool places to go hiking within 10-20min drive! Would definitely return. "

"Exactly as listed. Surprised my husband with this overnight stay and he loved it. It was the perfect little romantic getaway. The owner was super nice and easy to communicate with. The place was impeccable. Had all the comforts of home. We enjoyed the fire pit and the hot tub. You feel very secluded but Main Street was only 10 min away and we found a great little restaurant called The Chop house Bistro. Definitely recommend staying here. "
