Spent a long weekend in the city with our young kids. The house was very clean and in a great location. Street parking is never fun, and especially in Pittsburgh, but we were lucky enough to have no issues with getting a spot close to the house each time we ventured out. The kitchen was used daily for us and worked out great with what was provided. The only potential area that may give someone pause, especially with small children, are the bedroom floor locations and the stairs up to the third floor. They do have safety gates for use we saw but they’re very steep by any standards for today and could cause some stress depending on the individual. We live in an 1800s farm house with extremely steep stairs so fortunately we and our kids are used to the setup, but it’s definitely the norm with these older homes and making the most of the space. But all in all the pictures don’t lie, was a great spot that we’d have no problems visiting again.
