"The rooms are clean and comfy. The pool room was a bit cool for the time of year and if you're brave enough the hot tub is outside. It was snowing while we were in tge hot tub which was very cool. "

"Very nice house with large bedrooms, well-stocked kitchen and an overall comfortable feel. View out onto the lake is nice and it's great you have your own dock. Great location to go either east over to Traverse City or west over to Lake Michigan. Also close to M-22 and dune areas. "

"This place is like a slice of heaven on earth!! 10/10 would stay here again in a heartbeat!! We visited Leland, Sleeping Bear Dunes, and Frankfort. This was a great central location. The lake is clear and wasn’t too cold. Breathtaking sunsets right from the dock. Beds were comfy and I wanted to take the pillows home. We weren’t sure about the bathroom being in the main house only but it real wasn’t an issue. Stay here!! You won’t regret it! Thank you for having us and can’t wait to come back!!"

"This cottage/home is exceptional! It's exquisite - quaint - one-of-a-kind! It appealed to everyone in my family. We loved being on Platte Lake (our first time) with the clean & clear water & it not being crowded. In fact, it felt like we were the only ones most days. Everything has been well planned in this home & conveniently updated without losing the "old cottage feel". Everyone loved the outdoor shower too! "
