「Great place, well furnished and equipped. Floor to ceiling windows. Staff were working to fix the broken AC when we arrived, which thankfully worked. Complex is Directly on the beach with several lounge chairs and umbrella areas on the property. It’s a rocky beach in front of the hotel but good swimming on the left near the river. 」

「For international travelers expecting a normal hotel room, I would carefully review details about this hotel. If you're accustom to staying in hotels that cater to local citizens, you might be happy here. They seem to cater to families with kids who want to hang around the pools. 」

「Very safe feeling neighborhood. No problem walking around at night. The hotel complex is also safe and comfortable. The staff were extremely nice and helpful, especially the manager Jesus. Pool was clean and refreshing. There are lot flowers and plants which blow a lot leaves and petal in the pool in the windy afternoons. It makes for a lot of laughs trying to keep them out. 「Communication from the owner was excellent. The staff was amazing and patient with our lack of Spanish. The food was delicious and made dining stress free for my wife and me. The grounds and pool were also quite nice. If “bang for your buck” is a priority, I recommend La Maracuya. It’s a little remote, but we wanted some quiet time, and the location didn’t prevent us from exploring. We visited the pacific beaches and El Valle de Anton via rental car. Thanks for caring for us during our stay!」

「Horrible customer service, tried calling to cancel as our flights to Panama were cancelled and they had no number to call, the number given was a house number. Expedia tried calling and no answer in the end we lost out on our money, we lost out on the hotel. 」
