Great place to stay. Only complaint is the beds are quite hard. Hotel should invest in new mattresses or memory foam toppers. Something to make it more comfortable.

Very attentive and friendly staff. Sunset view was beautiful. Having a regular shuttle to the beach and restaurant on site was a great asset for this stay. The only thing I missed was an all inclusive breakfast that we had at all of our other stays in Costa Rica.

Our family of 2 adults & 2 teens stayed for 1 night at Villas Sol. The view was breathtaking of sunset on the pacific during dinner on the terrace of the main restaurant. All staff were very courteous and helpful. Theres 3 rooms per complex perched on a very steep hill.. even taking luggage out was difficult!!! Use the park brake. Even though the small 2 double beds room was clean, it was very dated; cracked tiles There is a convenient shuttle around complex & 2 Great swimming pools with bar. Breakfast not included & an expensive at $25 USD per person

Loved this property. And the price point you can’t beat. This is my second time coming the first was only 7 months ago! The views are amazing, staff so welcoming and kind and there is so much to do, or not do if you are looking for peace. The shuttle will take you right to the beach front where there are markets, food, and restaurants. You can stay past the most beautiful sunset and still feel so safe. There is a market in the main lobby with probably everything you would need or forget, and the best restaurant right Across the street. Coco beach and strip with is also amazing is only a 15 minutes drive, or uber, I felt very safe on overs and private transportation. And excursions will pick you up from this resort. Love love love. Coming back with the kids in a few months!

Staff were mostly kind. Grounds were amazing, although not walkable. Room was adequate, hot water, cleqning staff were wonderful. The shuttle was great for the first week then not great.

The view was incredible from the whole hotel and all the staff very friendly. The wet bar was a great place to hang out. We hadn't booked the food and drink package ahead of time but realized when we got there that it would be good value so we were able to add it on. The food was fine (better than most all inclusives I've been to) and drinks were a good selection. The restaurant and bar area were really beautiful with a view across the bay. The hotel shuttle down to reception/gift shop and to the beach was super convenient. Apparently there are lots of great restaurants in walking distance too. We saw howler monkeys right at the entrance to Playa Hermosa and it's a beautiful beach to walk along and swim at. The only feedback we have is that the bed in our room was very hard and the daily activities can be a bit loud with the staff doing bingo on the microphone for an hour one of the days! It's a small area so they could do it without a mic. Super close to Liberia airport and we got an Uber for about $45 CAD to the hotel. Also loads of car hire places around too.

The rooms were basic but clean. Staff were very pleasant. The hotel has a convenient shuttle around the grounds and to the beach. The restaurant had good food and there were other restaurants within walking distance.
