This is a beautiful property, loved everything, good communication, and really enjoyed the balcony and being able to walk right to the beach without having to drive to it and finding a place to park.

Beach 2025 vacation

The house was perfect for our group. Had some issues with appliances but they were addressed right away. Short walk to the beach was great for after dinner walks on the beach .

Beautiful home close to the beach. Clean spacious home that was very well laid out and comfortable. All of the beds were comfortable. The home has a very nice large wrap around porches that give you an ocean view from almost everywhere. Under the home is set up nicely and very spacious. The water pressure was amazing!!! They had everything needed for our stay. The fenced yard and swing set were a nice addition for us. The host Al was wonderful, commicated everything in a timely professional manner. Check in was a breeze. Extremely close to the beach on a quite area so we were able to relax and enjoy the beach and property. We will definitely book again. Thanks Al for sharing your home with us.

All the dishes was dirty, the bbq pit utensils had black mold on them, bugs on the dishes and draws. Other than that it was a great stay, we liked the view of the beach.

This property was exactly what I wanted in the price range and location that I wanted. The fenced in yard was perfect for my lil pup that stayed with us. Loved the outdoor space with ample seating.

The location and proximity to the beach was great. Great views from the deck. The fenced yard was a nice benefit with my 2 small dogs coming along.

The place over was nice and walking distance from the beach. Down sides..... there was only 2 towels in each bath room. The dryer did not work, which is not good when traveling with kids. The agte latch on the deck was broke

Walking distance to beach

This house was perfect for a last min one night stay with my family during the kids fall break. Easy walk to the beach with a great view! We will be back. Owners were quick to respond and access to the property was easy. Great parking. Kids loved the swing set.

Great proximity to beach

The unit was a short walk from the beach, with an ocean view. It was clean and well stocked with towels. The beds were comfortable, and the owner was very responsive to any questions. We would definitely return.

Perfect getaway

I was so impressed with everything about the house! Location, closeness to the beach, plenty of places for people to sit and watch the waves or the sunset. It was maybe a 2 minute walk from the house to the beach. The beds were very comfortable! I couldn’t find one thing to complain about at this house. We had so much fun here and I can’t wait to try to book for next year. Thank you to the amazing host!

Weekend Trip!

We enjoyed our stay overall. The upstairs porch is large with a nice view of the water and lots of chairs. We brought a rolling cart to haul our stuff to the beach - which is only about 3 houses down. I liked that there was a gated area downstairs and a gate at the top of the stairs so that my dog didn’t have to be on a leash the whole time. We didn’t really sit down there, but the space below the house is pretty large. Several tables with chairs as well as a bar area to set up a nice spread. Be sure and bring anything that you might need for cooking. Also the grill was rusty so if you plan to use it, be sure and bring tinfoil. And the house is currently for sale if anyone’s looking for a rental!

Great location! I will say the kitchen was a bit lacking for supplies. The blender didn’t work and there were no spatulas or toaster. The toilet in the hall bath was broken but Al got someone out to fix it quickly. The fridge door was broken too, not a huge deal other than it being a pain to close every time we opened. The location was perfect, we rented a golf cart, and although not necessary, it was wonderful to have with 3 kiddos. I gave it overall a three bc the cleanliness could have been better as the windows were rather dirty! If you’re looking for a spot within a few minutes walk to the beach, this is it!

Our home away from home

We came down for a much needed getaway from hectic big city life. I researched many houses and we have stayed in the area many times. This house was wonderful with a 3/4 wrap around deck with multiple seating scattered about. On the ground floor was a lot of seating and bar area along with 2 table setups. A secure chain linked fence surrounded the yard and even incorporated the stairs so the dogs could run down without having someone with them. There is a wood swing set and slide inside the yard. Rinse off hoses as well as downstairs shower. Kitchen was well appointed with the basics and had all we needed. We cook a lot! Need to bring your own ice.. and is a drip coffee maker. Beds comfy and tv in each room. Roku setup. Best beach combing in the area with close walk as well as drive access. Overall, we will rent this property again and we have stayed in many on the Bolivar Peninsula. This is our future home away from home. Shell
