「No furniture in the room. Low lifes blocking the doorway. Not a safe place」

「Room was clean and comfortable but a bit Spartan. Shower, AC, refrigerator, microwave worked fine. Lighting was depressingly dim and inadequate. Wi-Fi was worse than inadequate, painfully slow and kept cutting out. I stayed 3 nights but the fourth night I had a zoom meeting so I bailed and moved to a different motel down the road.」

「This was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I’ve had. The property was difficult to find due to a lack of adequate signage, there was a person smoking right outside the front door and yelling at her phone. This created an unprofessional and unwelcoming first impression. A loud, continuously barking dog only added to the negative atmosphere. Although the innkeeper was polite, ongoing problems with the reservation system reflected poorly on the property’s management and organization....

「The breakfast was the bare minimum to be considered continental.」

「The parking lot was newly surfaced. The air conditioner was easy to operate. The floor of our room was not swept. The sheets in one of the beds had little stains on them which indicated bed bugs. There were large plastic tubes mounted on the outside wall between every two room entrances with a hole cut into the top that were filthy for cigarette butts.」

「My husband and I absolutely loved our stay! The room was updated and clean, comfy bed. The pool was clean and water warm. There is also a sauna, gym, yoga, and relaxation room onsite. We will be staying here again on our next trip in the Dells & I highly recommend it.」
