"We had specifically asked for a connecting room a day before we got there, when we got to the Hotel, we had to insisted that we need a connecting room, or else they would not have given us the connecting room. We were 2 families with kids in each room. We had called after our booking and also few days before we came that we would like to have connecting room. It would be nice if these requests can be looked at by the staff more seriously. "

"The communication before, during, and after our stay was exceptional. The house was clean and provided everything we needed for a five night stay. The location was also ideal for our needs. The house was exactly as advertised. "

Driveway parking fits 3 cars front to back. Kitchen amenities were appreciated, with enough K-Cups to get four adults through the weekend. "Beware before you book this apartment. This unit is built above a bar, and the music from the bar is very loud in the apartment. The base vibrates the bed, the the tables. The thermostat is not located inside the apartment, it is located down inside the bar. You will have to wait until the bar opens before you can have the temperature adjusted. The Wi-Fi is not located inside the apartment, it is also down inside the bar. It is also located next to a train track, and when the train goes by you can expect the floor to shake. If you have an issue, don't expect much help from the host."

"Communication and check-in were seamless. The apartment was very clean. We were a little cold and Jason brought a space heater right away. Great location just on the edge of the village. A couple considerations for future visitors: Exterior photo on VRBO is not the actual location, it’s of a building on the scenic canal; the apartment is a very small studio with minimal room for luggage, and small kitchen. Perfect for one person or short stays. "
