「I loved that old cottage and am glad it is in good use. It's nicely furnished and the village where it is situated is delightful. Two negatives were the dog smell in the lounge and poor state of plants in pots. While the dog smell is probably unavoidable as dogs are allowed, the dead plants brought about a depressing impression. Being a gardener, I tried to look after the remaining plants and had to transplant one huge heuchera plants that was literally hanging in the air as its pot was...

「Love staying here. Lovely room with a balcony, huge bed and spotlessly clean. Staff are really nice and food is fabulous and hot. Lovely setting and so quiet. Ground floor rooms available」

「Excellent location, spacious room, great breakfast, beautiful balcony with amazing views, and more importantly very nice and helpful staff 🙏👏」

「Location was great. The apartment was top notch」

「Lovley clean room and bathroom. 2nd floor room with quite steep stairs, no lift so beware if you are not very agile! Room 6 is basically in the roof, OK in winter but would be very warm in summer and noisy with gulls around as overlooking the other rooftops. Toilet had a macerator which was noisy and didn't quite flush properly once or twice - wouldn't like that again! Loose dog in the hallway when I came back from walk- barking and growling so rang bell for owner to come out. It was owner's...

「EVERYTHING WAS FINE FOR US」

「The hotel is in a great location, all the staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was clean, we didn’t have any room service as hadn’t noticed the service my room sign on the back of the do not disturb sign. All good we would go again.」

「Lovely & very accommodating hosts & very good breakfasts. Room was spotless with king size bed, TV, sea views, plenty of storage space, compact ensuite, etc. The on site parking requires some care from drivers, especially if you have a large car. Town centre, pubs, railway station & beach all a short walk down the hill.」

「It is the most silent and peaceful accommodation I have never enjoyed before. The green views are especially attractive for us that coming from a very crowded city. 」

「A reminder that you don’t get a lot for your money these days. Twin room - cheap narrow beds, very noisy plumbing system in the room and from other rooms, noisy outside, tiny shower. Included breakfast not worth mentioning.」

「The cleaning staff set and maintain extremely high standards as do reception staff. I have increased the length of my stay at The Manor Hotel several times because of the cleanliness especially. It's location is ideal and my room has spectacular views.」
