"This hotel is centrally located for all that we wanted to do, between hiking trails off Skyline Drive to antiquing at the multitude of antique malls and shops in the area. The hotel has been consistently clean, quiet and in very good condition over the several years we have been visiting the area. Management is especially responsive to suggestions and happy to assist guests in any way they can. Kudoes to Jaime for being a wonderful asset!"
"We just completed a month stay at Joni's house. This is a comfortable home with everything you need. Modern, updated with great outdoor space. Located in a quiet setting in Barboursville with easy access to Charlottesville and the surrounding area. For the few minor problems we had, Joni was very responsive to see that we had a great stay. "We stayed one night on our way to the Outter Banks. We were greeted by the sweetest pup and family. We even received delicious fresh cherries. The accommodations were as pictured and very clean and comfortable. We have never stayed at a location, so well stocked. The farm was so cute. Our five-year-old loved playing with the owner’s daughter and learning about the chickens, ducks, goats, and alpacas. They even showed him how to pick his own eggs! This location was perfect for relaxing after a long day in the car. If we are ever coming this way again, we will definitely be stopping back. Thank you for being great hosts. Love you I was daddy"
"Good location for visiting Monticello and downtown Charlottesville. Didn't have wash clothes or ice cube trays. The toilet is not anchored to the floor and the seat is not anchored also and slides. We told the owner and were advised he would fix it after we leave. If you have mobility issues be careful as the fence and partial railing is not anchored well."
