I really like the hotel is in a great location, room was clean ( I will suggest to clean better the washroom on the rooms ) staff was very nice at all times, pool and all amenities great.

Nice, clean, older property well-maintained great staff great location breakfast at the restaurant was excellent. Would not hesitate to stay there again in the future. We plan on bringing our kids back with us next time.

Our stay at Bungalows Zicatela was Amazing, Staff was supper friendly specially Williams he was welcoming and funny. It’s right in the middle of great restaurants, bars, and night life. The option they have for free breakfast is great the options they offer are really good and fulfilling.

Very nice, comfortable stay. Hotel is a little dated but very clean. The staff is amazingly friendly and helpful. The restaurant has a great breakfast, lunch and dinner menu. Great outdoor area for lounging around the pool all day. The beach is a five minute walk across the street! We’ll definitely stay here again!

The staff was wonderful, always attentive breakfast well served welcome drink given upon arrival. The only bad part is the location is above a disco or nightclub. You can hear the music up till two or three in the morning every night. Water pressure Low and one night no hot water. Bit cannot say enough of the staff 10 out of 10

We loved the spaciousness of the property as well as the two pools, access to Zicatela beach, and the breakfast included at their ocean front restaurant. Daily housekeeping was included as well. We frequently needed extra towels but you’re allowed one for your room and one for the beach/pool per day. Staff was friendly!

I like the staff were always ready to help and the cleanest of my room every day. I did not like that during the day at the pool is so quiet no music at all,but after 10:30 pm the music all loud next door with the karaoke people

I paid 3 times what it should charge. Staff is unfriendly, pool is disgusting and the interior is about what I've paid $25-$50 a night in other similar locations. RUn down and not that clean. I will never stay here again. If it was $50 a night instead of $140 i would not complain. Better to spend more here in Puerto for nicer stays. If you are a big wave surfer and want to stay in walking distance from Zicatela beach then go ahead.

We reserved a room with a king size bed and deck with ocean view. What we didn't realize was these rooms were in the old part of the hotel, rooms are very worn, bathrooms were rough, no hot water and it was on the main street. Very loud at night - the music from the clubs went on til 3, 4 5am! We were offered a different room, which is in the new part of the hotel, however there were no rooms with king size beds available, and the rooms were tiny. There wasn't even enough room for an extra chair! We were sold a deluxe room, and offered a significantly reduced room in its place. The staff were wonderful throughout our stay, but the property itself needs some work.

We loved our stay at Bungalows Zicatela. I traveled with my husband and two teenage boys. We were very comfortable and the staff was amazing. Front desk, security, restaurant staff, maid service and maintenance persons were all very friendly and helpful. There are many pools and the free breakfast is delicious and the portions are big. We also ate there for dinner a few times and it was also very good. The maid service is impeccable. My room always felt so clean after they were there and they would fold our towels into elephants and swans which I thought was really special. The air conditioner works really well which was a godsend as Puerto gets VERY hot. The only downsides to the hotel is it is noisy at night due to being next to 2 big beach clubs that keep it rocking loud. There also aren’t any room safes. I would definitely stay here again if I ever find myself on Zicatela Beach again. Thank for making our trip special.

The staff at the reception were excellent. The breakfast and dining room service was also very good. Very timely service and large portions for the money. The pool area was nice. On the other side, housekeeping never made it to our room to clean it over the three days we were there, always coming at the end of the day when we were back getting ready for dinner. The rooms are very outdated and the locks on the rooms are very old. The hotel makes you give ID to have a beach towel, or a hairdryer or an iron. I forgot my key in my room one time and the housekeeping person just jimmied the lock by sticking a steak knife through the moulding on the wall and popping the door open. This property is well located, near a bar that has live music every night, much of it not good music. It was loud and unpleasant and the windows did little to block the noise. This hotel is quite overpriced for what you get.
