The check-in process was a bit tedious, but that was due to Expedia, not the hotel. To keep a positive experience, the hotel staff was very kind and upgraded us to a beautiful room. We were a family of four, including a 7-year-old child, and each of us had our own bed and private bathroom, which was excellent. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming, from the front desk staff to the waiters, and especially the bar staff. The entertainment was excellent; the girl who organized the karaoke had great charisma and energy. The weather was on our side, with sunny days throughout our stay. The food at the Blue Lagoon restaurant was delicious . we absolutely loved it. The entire resort staff is humble, respectful, and very kind. Recommendations: • I didn’t really like the “guagua” shuttle; I think a large golf cart would look better and feel more comfortable. • At the bars, drinks were often served in plastic cups, which takes away from the presentation. However, at the beach they used nicer cups, and we were able to take great photos there.

I stayed at the same hotel multiple times, ranging from the lifestyle presidential suite to the lifestyle crown. Overall, my experience was positive, although I don’t plan to return for a while. The menu offerings at the resort were quite repetitive, with minimal variation during my week-long stay, which made dining less exciting. The restaurants I visited were decent; the steakhouse stood out as the best option due to its quality and variety. The bar was quite average, serving typical drinks and limited atmosphere. However, the highlight of my stay was the exceptional service at the spa. I was able to book two different treatments—such as a deep tissue massage and a hydrating facial—and the staff consistently provided professional and friendly service. If I were to award five stars to the resort, it would be primarily for the outstanding spa experience and attentive staff.

The place was ok. The food was good, the room was so so, hard bed & lumpy pillows. The property was kept up but people just leave their trash everywhere. The everyday staff, bartender Jose at the dessert bar was amazing, housekeepers, waitstaff, were all superb. Always smiling and friendly. There is a lot of selling going on. There are timeshares for sale. We were asked several times to take a tour and we declined. There are people waiting in front of the CASABLANCA buffet waiting to sell you things. It’s constant. There is always someone asking to show you something. Within an hour of getting to our rooms, we had 2, we were approached by 2 spa appointment seekers and we booked 3 massages, in front of our rooms and paid cash. That night one in our party fell and hurt their toe. I went to the spa the next morning to cancel and was told that I couldn't get a refund. That the money left the property and that I could either book the massages at a later day of the week, get a credit for 320$ of product or get a certificate to use whenever I returned. I wanted a refund and was told for 3 consecutive days that I couldn’t get one. There is nothing anywhere that states cash cannot be refunded. We booked this on Saturday, canceled on Sunday and was told on Wednesday after days of insisting only a refund was acceptable, to return Friday for the refund. It was like the money was being kept hostage and in the end I only got it back in my hands at 11am while checking out on Saturday. 👎
