Icon paradise

We have stayed at the icon several times and this condo was very nice and the view is incredible. It is also clean and newly updated inside.

Gorgeous views

The condo was exactly as pictured and the views from the balcony were amazing. We loved the beach and pool, although the pool was a bit crowded at times. We would consider staying at the Icon again in the future. Thank you!

Great Condo but price listing is deceiving.

The property is absolutely wonderful, clean, well appointed, great staff and location. Any issues were taken care of same day. Lots of fees above the listed price from VRBO.

We really loved the condo and the area. The outdoor furniture could use an update. It was very uncomfortable. Absolutely loved how close it was to everything. There was always a cab right outside the entrance as well. The 10th floor was perfect to watch all the boats, parasailers and every Tuesday the cruise ships came in. Facing the ocean was perfect!!

Clean, well stocked, nice linens, good view, easy communication. The main elevator was not working, so had to use the service elevator which was small and slow. The unit could use a little cosmetic work to spruce it up. Would stay again.

Great property

we had a short 4 day stay in this unit. Wife and I had a very enjoyable time. The check-in process went very smooth. The condo has everything you could want as well as the property amenities were a step above most properties out there. Will definitely stay here again.

Perfect, relaxing, first class!

Absolutely gorgeous condo. Perfect location! Amazing views that can’t be beat! Can’t get better sunset anywhere in PV. Everything is newly renovated. Top of the line kitchen equipment. Excellent washer/dryerThree zone a/c! Owner and property manager have been very easy to work with and very responsive (we extended our stay for 11 more nights.) Staff at complex are very friendly and learn your name the first day you arrive. Permanent residents and short term renters are all very friendly. I’ve even become friends with one who invites me to her condo for drinks and appetizers. Three smart TV’s one in each bedroom. I do suggest bringing a fire stick with a vpn if you want to watch networks from your home country live not recorded. Took me five minutes to set up in each room. Easy peasy. There is a separate desk with screen to hook your laptop to. Wi-FI is free and reliable throughout complex. The spa is a must experience! Unbelievable massages and manicures pedicures. I use gym daily with private trainer and the pools are beautiful. No overcrowding, easy to get seats together in shade or sun. Also easy to get cabanas to use. This is the perfect place to relax and unwind while only 10 minutes from all the action you want. The bar and grill close early (which I like). Prices for food and drinks are excellent. You can always get food/drinks to go. I have a personal assistant/driver here and he’s given access without problems. Honestly can’t say enough positive about this unit. I even got to witness a sea turtle baby release on the beach right in front of the complex for free. Lots of proposals happen on the beach at night as it’s very romantic as well. You see the cruise ship terminal from the bedrooms and wrap around full opening sliding wall doors on both sides. And did I say the ocean front 180 degree view? You can’t get views like that anywhere else in PV. I don’t care what restaurant you eat in or resort you stay in. I’m already planning next year’s month in this exact unit.

Real truth

So truth as we were required to make two reservations. Complex was excellent, perfect for what we wanted shout outs to José Luis, Hector, and tower 1 concierge Claudia. Above and Beyond but wouldn’t let flower delivery without prior notice during stay. Sad. Also gym requires reservations for every use. But personal trainer had to use service entrance. Very uncomfortable for me. Unit not so much. Promised 18th floor was 10th. Shower leaked into unit below requiring three visits to repair. And couldn’t use during the time because of this issue. Mobility issues couldn’t let start us use master bath was too high to climb in. Dishwasher never worked until four days to checkout , 5+ visits to repair over 3 1/2 weeks and still needed to slam door three or four times to close it. Safe was broken and another two separate visits to repair. No pictures on walls, sterile and bleak. No throw cushions on couch. Wi-Fi was unreliable, not good if trying to work or use VPN as no English shows available without VPN and fire sticks. Remotes weren’t charged when arrived and didn’t receive a charger for any of them. No makeup mirrors in either bathroom. I left one. Hopefully it’s available for future visitors and a keurig machine. No kettle either. Left a $50 usd tip with property manager and pm told housekeeper (who was awesome her name is Kenya) it was left at concierge, it was left with him. Who knows if she received it? And after all that they charged me a $30 dollar late check out fee because my airline canceled my flight three hours before departure and I spent two hours on phone trying to reroute. We asked for some compensation but nothing from owner or property manager for our constant intrusions for maintenance issues and 18th floor reservation. Hopefully VRBO, who has a formal grievance and case number will help. VRBO let’s people buy Superhost not earned. All the homeowners were great for future visits. Connecting me with future rentals The rest of US tourists not so much. Sad people don’t understand we are guests in their country. This was my 12+ visit to PV and I’ll be back in March.
