COVID escape trip

Beautiful place in the perfect location. The view is amazing and close enough for us to walk to almost every where. Everyone was super friendly and very attentive

Beautiful condo

Well appointed condo, lots of neat art. Comfortable. Kitchen was awesome. Street noise was annoying and the showers never held a constant water temp. The views from the unit were 10+++ however. Pool area was nice and staff were friendly. Take a taxi back at night as it is not safe to walk back unless you’re with a bigger group. That was advice from a local.

Beautiful /view condo but loud road noise and militant security

The Pros: This condo is really beautiful and has been well decorated. We could tell that the owners put thought an effort into the decoration. The beds are very comfortable and are high quality and this was a real nice touch. The Cons: The condo sits on top of the main road. Trucks, cars and mopeds are traveling that road day and night. The road noise can be heard from two of the three bedrooms and really was not only an annoyance but didn't allow for a good nights rest and detracted from the full enjoyment of the beautiful view. The security was omnipresent. They would walk the property and inquire about any perceived violation of the condo rules. We came back from the beach one afternoon and wanted to shower and take a dip in the pool. We had a small speaker with us that was not even on and the security guard came right over to us and was like "you can not have this here." We also tried to use the pool one day after the beach and had plastic cups with us and the security approached us again and informed us "You can not have any cups by the pool" I wrote to our host Gustavo and complained about the constant annoyance by the security and was informed that no matter what type of material a cup was, we couldn't have it by the pool; this clearly was not outlined in the rules and regulations (which they are many) that we received when we checked in. Upon further investigation, I learned that there was a log kept by the property management for every time we had any interaction with them. It definitely felt like we were being constantly monitored by the staff and really detracted from the full ability to relax at this property. We have travelled to PV many times and have stayed a various properties in the Conchas Chinas/Playe de Los Muertos area and have never felt so unwelcome by staff as we have during this stay. Granted, the condo has a great view and is well decorated but we were not really able to enjoy our vacation as a result of the aforementioned items. We write this review only to inform other potentials VRBO'ers of things that really detracted from our stay. Had we been aware of these issues, we would have chosen a different property.
