「We had a great 3 night stay in Borgo Marino Plemmirio! Nice rooms with airconditioning and decent kitchen. The swimming pool is very nice with see views and even the Etna in the background! Very close to this somewhat isolated location is a fantastic little beach (Spiaggia Massolivieri). It is the nicest beach we have been to in Italy! Also the old town of Syracusa is a must-go-to.」

「Staff excellent- friendly, polite, helpful. Fabulous location, right in the middle of Ortigia but hotel itself an oasis of calm. Family room very spacious and lovely. Breakfast buffet standard/good. Terrace bar nice to have but small with limited opening - still can’t believe they don’t know what a limoncello spritz is, when it’s so popular elsewhere - but tried hard to accommodate. In summary we were very very happy of our choice of hotel in Ortigia. 」

The parking was easily accessible even though one needs to drive around the block to get there, but it’s just behind the hotel - very convenient. The breakfast was excellent and again served very attentively in the same space that, at night, is used for the Onda Blu high level fish-focused restaurant (10% off too as hotel clients). Don’t be fooled by the “fish market” designation on Google Maps...

「Schönes Agriturismo inmitten von Zitronenbäumen. Netter Service. Geräumige Zimmer in super Zustand. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig, der Fokus liegt landestypisch auf Süßem. Zu Abend wir ein mehrgängiges Menü angeboten, mit sizilianischen Gerichten, aus Produkten des Agriturismos, aber nur vegetarisch, zumindest als wir da waren. Auf dem Hof gibt es 6 sehr liebe Hunde, die Nachts aber im Haus der Besitzer schlafen. Der nahe Ort Casibille ist jetzt nicht das touristische Highlight, aber es gibt...
