"This is a gorgeous rural hotel with an amazing pool area, a quiet, calm, gentle vibe, beautiful gardens, superb staff who will look after you so well. Even though hotel was full (still only 30 or so guests) there was loads of space, beds by the pool, other seating areas … a truly relaxing experience. Add in premium end toiletries in the bathroom and it’s a 10/10 from us, 4 nights of bliss. Hotel is an easy 20 minute drive from Ortigia for dinners out if you want and hotel advises where to park without problem. Easy drive to places like Noto also and beaches - again, hotel will advise."

"Un hotel recién renovado muy limpio y situado en el centro de la ciudad y con vista al mar. La habitación que compre tenia Jacuzzi privado en el techo. Muy agradable la sensación de estar en el Jacuzzi mirando las estrellas. Lo recomiendo y lo repetiremos."

"Lovely Villa, good lay out as families and teenagers had own rooms and space. Pool area is great and we all enjoyed the Villa and holiday to Sicily. The standout out though for this Villa is the host Salvos. He was brilliant, really helpful, knowledgeable and kind. If you want good restaurants, beaches, boat trips and trip or travel advice he was always available to help and book or make suggestions. Would recommend this Villa and well worth asking Salvos for places to eat, go and what times and locations work well. Amazing host."

"Wir haben eine tolle Woche in der Villa verbracht und uns dort sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Villa bietet Platz für bis zu 12 Personen, wir waren zu acht und hatten dadurch wirklich viel Platz. Besonders der schöne Pool und der großzügige Außenbereich haben uns sehr gut gefallen.Salvos wohnt direkt nebenan und war bei Fragen oder wenn wir Hilfe brauchten immer für uns erreichbar. Er hat uns außerdem tolle Tipps für Strände und einige echte Insider-Tipps für die Umgebung gegeben. An einem Abend hat er sogar für uns gekocht. Das Essen war sehr lecker und wir hatten einen richtig schönen gemeinsamen Abend.Insgesamt eine sehr schöne Unterkunft für eine größere Gruppe und ein toller Ausgangspunkt, um Sizilien und die Umgebung rund um Catania zu erkunden. Wir haben unsere Woche sehr genossen und können die Villa auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen!"

Villa Bali with Pool by Wonderful Italy

"The property was clean on arrival and had a very pretty and inviting appearance. All the bedrooms were a good size, with ample storage for a two-week stay. The living area was huge, and the indoor kitchen was well equipped.The outdoor kitchen was a wonderful feature — a real oasis on a hot day, perfect for cooling down and grabbing a cold drink. We experienced no issues with the electrics, and both kitchens were beautifully fitted and equipped.The pool was lovely, perfectly positioned to be warmed by the sun during the day and shaded in the late afternoon for those who prefer a cooler swim. The lovely owners came to clean the pool and showed us how to use the pool robot, which we used daily due to the ash falling while Etna was active.The outdoor areas were beautiful, with gardeners coming every few days to keep everything looking lovely.Our only small gripe was that, for the price paid, it would've been nice to have had the bedding changed halfway through our stay. We washed the sheets and towels, although the ash on the ground made drying them outside quite tricky without a line to hang them up.There were a couple of minor housekeeping details that could perhaps have been picked up by the property management team before our arrival, but these did not detract from our stay.Overall, we had a lovely holiday. The owners were friendly and helpful, the management team were helpful, kind and responsive, and the villa provided a beautiful and relaxing base for our stay."

"Really lovely, well maintained resort, with attractive grounds. There are 2 large pools which are very clean and offer shallow children's section alongside a deeper section. One of the pools is quieter and the other has loud music, we enjoyed using both of them. The staff are very helpful, friendly and welcoming. Being mainly English speakers, we didn't find it difficult to communicate with the staff at all. We went to the beach a couple of times, it is 600m away but the hotel has transport to take people which runs most of the day. We went to the evening shows most night but they are mostly in Italian so we struggled a bit, however, our 4 year old daughter still enjoyed dancing along and watching parts of it. The best part is the food! We had delicious pastas, pizza, fish, vegetables, fruit... the food is varied and fresh. Also delicious deserts. The food quality is really good. The drinks need to be improved - they are served mostly in small plastic cups which isn't ideal. To note - we were all inclusive and paid more for a Superior room which was definitely worth it as you get access to a more premium restaurant and you get reserved beach chairs, beach towels, etc. Overall it beat my expectations and we'd go again."
