“Great location nestled in the wooded hills of Virginia. This unique place has something for everyone, whether it is a soak in the hot tub, smores by the fire pit, or lazy mornings sipping coffee in rocking chairs off the main deck. This place was well stocked, and away from all the noise. Kevin was gracious and responsive to all our questions. Highly recommend.”

“Very nice apartment in a historical building. The kitchen was amazingly well stocked. Everything was lovely. Owner promptly answered questions. I didn't realize how much traffic came through this town. Fortunately, the bedroom door blocked the street noise. It was a very nice respite from a long drive.”

“The only regret we have is not staying more than one night! Kay and Joe were great hosts. Kay provided a lot of recommendations for wineries, restaurants, and things to do. The location is central to a number of wineries and incredible views. The Love Nest is well stocked with all the essentials and several bonuses, too! Communication was clear leading up to the reservation, during our stay, and there are guides throughout the Love Nest for clear instructions to make the most of the stay. We got……

“We loved our trip and mostly enjoyed the yard space and hot tub a lot! We did have some minor issues while there, but reached out to the host and were able to get quick resolution. Very close to Luray caverns and some cute local shops nearby as well.”

“I highly recommend this cabin. It is beautiful, very private, very clean and well planned. The fire pit was perfect (complete with a little s’mores packet for each of us and plenty of firewood). We wished we could have stayed longer. We hiked Old Rag and went to two wineries and visited Sperryville but there is lots more to see in this beautiful county.”

“An exceptional property in an amazing location. One of a kind. Very clean and comfortable. Highly recommend for a quiet retreat. Be aware that it is quite isolated and bring whatever food or beverages you prefer. The cottage has a full kitchen stove, microwave, refrigerator and dishwasher. Lots of dishes and silverware. There is a Keurig coffeemaker and pods, etc. and a few energy bars were left out but I was glad that I had brought my own (microwaveable) dinner and snacks.”

“This location was great and walking distance to downtown. It was clean and everything felt recently refurbished. It worked perfectly for our trip to visit Shenandoah. The host was very responsive and addressed a small issue quickly within hours.”

“Beautiful property close to Shenandoah mountains hiking and Culpeper, Va. The place is stocked with everything you may need in case you forgot something. I enjoyed the fresh eggs from the chickens and the hammock at sundown.Nice pool and hot tub available when the weather is agreeable.”

“Efficient home that fit our needs perfectly. Traveling partner uses a rolling walker and the home fit it perfectly. Everything was as described. Apartment fridge and microwave gave us all we needed for meals in. Bathroom has walk-in shower. Bed is comfortable. Wi-Fi worked well for our needs. Across from train, not noisy but train sounds can be heard. It was peaceful and enjoyable to watch. Would definitely stay again.”

“Perfect for a quick getaway. There are 3 tiny cabins on the property, but they are situated to provide privacy. Our cabin was the furthest from the river (a short walk away). The cabin is tiny, but it had what we needed. We enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit, and grill/patio.”
