“This was a lovely hotel and we had a great stay. We received a very warm welcome on arrival and also a welcome gift which was very well received. The room was great, a good size, clean and well maintained. The grounds were gorgeous. The Manor House is beautiful. The golf course was good and well maintained. The food was good, we had a nice breakfast and paid for lunch in the bar. The hotel has multiple games including table tennis, table football, pool and arcade games, space invaders,……

“Overall enjoyable stay. Staff friendly and supportive.
Parking easy.
Room overall comfortable - radiator and heater helped warm the room. Shower needs removal of mould and descaling of shower head.
Preordering breakfast worked fine and the omelette was very enjoyable.
Dinner was good. Sharing starter good as was the beef stew and Bull burger. Crumble nice.
Enjoyable drinks in the bar.”

“Very good overall. . Like a lot of hotels, the food is good but overpriced. The location and view of the river from some rooms is fabulous. Staff are friendly and try their best for you. Unfortunately I booked last minute in order to get a peaceful night’s sleep and the fire alarm woke the whole hotel at 3am. Great that it worked, but there was no fire! Water had leaked into the sensors somehow (the weather was windy and wet that night) so after we all trooped out of our rooms in pyjamas and……
